Excellent location -- not too crowded so you have enough beachfront to enjoy, and Waling Waling's Cabanas are great to just laze around and enjoy the beach. Staff are very efficient and accommodating. The rooms are quite big. One problem we had was with mosquitoes, not just in hotel room but I guess mostly everywhere in Boracay --and even Off Lotion didn't work. Rooms are quite big and they gave us a free upgrade. We booked 2 rooms except that one of the rooms had a slight leak in the bathroom. Wonderful Cabanas, there was supposed to be Wifi but connection was not very good - server connectio...

Waling Waling Beach Hotel can be reached via Kalibo or flying directly to Caticlan. From Kalibo, transfer buses will take you to the Caticlan Jetty Port, an hour and a half away where you catch a boat ride on a native crafted banca to the island which is about 15 mins away. One can fly directly to Caticlan by Asian Spirit on one of their 3 daily flights and the Caticlan Jetty Port is only a few minutes away by tricycle. For the adventurous, one can take the Super Ferry to a port near Kalibo where transportation to Caticlani s available .

Transfer from airport+boot+taxi til Hotel not included. The hotel rate for transfer es too expensive, 2000php (35eur) if you go with local transport it is so easy and cheaper max 500-600php round trip 2 passengers. The location of the hotel is the best of white beach because it have a beach every day and it is near shopping and food area. The massage we recomend near hotel in Nigi nigi restaurant. The nigi nigi restaurant we recoment the burger is wonderful and also the fish too.

Wonderful Cabanas, there was supposed to be Wifi but connection was not very good - server connection was intermittent. All the staff were friendly and accommodating, and very quick to address our concerns. The room attendant was superbly efficient in tidying up the room -- esp with us who have small children. We enjoyed the breakfast -- nothing fancy -- but a complete meal to start our day. Breakfast (which was part of the package) was a good breakfast for the kids - with porridge, egg, yoghurt and cereal. We got a good night's sleep without the sounds of bands/music playing. We are at Station 1, and beachfront is not too crowded and not very noisy -- and just about 15-20 mins. of leisurely walk to staion 2 where most of the food and shopping outlets are. Very easy to find tricyles to bring us around. We did not avail of the transfer package -- coz it was about 3X more expensive -- but if cost is not a major issue and you're travelling with small children and older grandparents -- then maybe wiser to avail of hotel transfer -- to prevent the moving from Airport to van to boat to van -- whew!
