The tropical island of Boracay is a little slice of paradise in the Phillipines. Situated around an hour’s flight from the mainland, it attracts millions of visitors every year to enjoy the stunning beaches, peaceful and beautiful surroundings and emerging water sports scene. Located right on one of the largest and most popular beaches, Balabag beach, is the Palm Breeze Villa. Guests staying at this Boracay villa resort will get to enjoy a perfect marriage between convenience and privacy as the villa’s facilities and services add a touch of pampering and luxury to your hideaway holiday.

Palm Breeze Villa is nestled in the nook of the bay, which provides shelter from the wind, allowing guests the perfect vantage point to watch the Boracay locals and tourists kiteboard, kitesurf or windsurf, but if you aren’t content looking from afar, you could, of course, always indulge in some watersports yourself.

A tip for getting around is to hire a motorised scooter or even bicycle – this is a great way of exploring the island and finding that perfect Boracay beach. If you want to really see the area though, a sailboat or motorized outrigger is another great choice.

After a fully day exploring the nearby beaches of Balonghai, Punta Bunga and Puka Beach, guests staying at Mandala Spa & Villas Hotel may want to consider taking advantage of the excellent health and wellness facilities at this stunning resort. Boracay is an island where people visit to lose themselves or sometimes find themselves, and two unique activities at the hotel include the island’s first female only yoga retreat and also life coaching weekends. A further, perhaps more foolproof option for inner happiness is, of course, shopping and 10 minutes away is D Mall shopping area – a path that leads to the beach, lined with souvenir and gift shops as well as some larger, brand name stores.

Isla Boracay - Villa is in one of the quieter villa resorts on the island. Set upon a cliff that overlooks Caticlan, the views of the mountains, seas and beaches are unparalleled. The warm pastel colours of the interior complement the scenery and add a natural atmosphere to the hotel. As well as constantly ranking in the top ten of Asian destinations for relaxation, Boracay also places rather high up for nightlife. Many of the hippest bars are situated near boat stations 1 and 2. There’s a wide array of bars in Boracay, from upmarket trendy beach clubs and makeshift drinking spots, to friendly reggae bars.
