Our stay (july 22nd till july 30th) was in one word PERFECT. 3 beautifull swimmingpools, a very nice white powdered sandy beach, a good restaurant, perfect bar and very friendly employees made our stay unforgettable....

Overpriced, as bathroom was not clean. Lighting system in the room was extremely poor. When you turn off the main light, you couldn't keep the conditioner on; you can't watch TV or in the miiddle of night to go to the bathroom you might fall. So I just slept in the room with the lights on.

It's already my second stay in Bohol Beach Club (july 2008 and 2009). The beach is very long and peacefull (private). The food is philippino cooking and very nice. The staff is very kind. The room are not so beautifull but they are clean. The environnement is also quite. So, I recommande it if you like to rest or if you have children. For me, it's the best place in Panglao.

The hotel placed between willage (poor willage). If you go to the left you see only poor houses, if you go to the right - the same. Restoraunt preparing very not tasty dishes and you haven't alternative to choose.

The Bohol Beach Club was a nice place to stay and relax... It is best to stay for just three or four days, if you are not familiar with most aquatic sports. It is better to stay for a week if you are with a group, because activities are planned for you. Overall, the resort is clean, the restaurant has good food, and has good facilites. EXCEPT: If you are really looking for aquatic sports organized by the hotel, I would not really recommend their "Aqua Sports" organization. The people there seem to not attend you quickly, and they are not very convincing when you ask them for details - usually they will also try to keep the price quite high. BUT: If you are staying just for relaxation and an escape from your busy daily life, I would recommend you to stay at Bohol Beach Club.

Felt like a prisoner. Prices in general seemed to be inflated for Philippine standards. No entertainment and no transportation to get to entertainment, you have to pay an extra P600 to be transported outside of the hotel and another P600 to go back. In fairness the beach was nice and the landscaping is nice. I enjoyed snorkling and saw a lot of fish. Tour package is so expensive. Good thing we were able to find a tour service from the next resort to tour us for a reasonable amount.
If you want to be in a secluded area and go swimming its fine but if you are looking for entertainment and night life its not the place for you.

Good resort by the beach. Difficult to swim on the beach just next to the resort but it's still a very nice view. The activities are not expensive and the 3 swimming pools are good. I would recommend not to take the buffet lunch and dinner that are not good. But as long as you choose a la carte and only asian food (they don't know how to cook western food, but that's just normal, you're in asia...) it's great. The staff is friendly even if they are very loud (waking you up at night by speaking loud next to your room for instance...). Quite far from anything else so don't expect to do much on Bohol as it's a minimum of 1/2 or 1 hour drive from there. You are here to enjoy the resort and it's good for no more than a week.
To sum up, it's not a very good resort but it's rather cheap and with a good value for money. You can spend some nice holidays here if your expectations are not too high. Lay back, relax and enjoy the location, that's what you have to do.

A very nice and quiet place for the whole family. But if you want some night life...this is not the place for you. The Resort is secluded. But overall... I enjoyed! The view, the beach... the sand... even the island hopping and snorkeling...better than boracay!

This place is nice with good pools and a quiet athmosphere.
The negative is that is not so many option for you when it comes to resturants because off the location you are a litle bit trapped there.

We stayed in the superior gardenside room, which is definitely better than the standard rooms, but still just average, but decent for that price. The hotel has a stunning 1 mile private beach, with everything you look for in a tropical holiday. 3 nice swimming pools too. The hotel is secluded, with the downside that it is rather remote. Taking a taxi into town takes about 30min and is relatively expensive for the Philippines. The dinner buffet was more than decent, with good variety. Less so is the lunch buffet. Meal prices of course are for tourists, which means double of anywhere else in the province and thus comparable with downtown Manila. All in all still rather cheap for Europeans. We went in June, after peak season and there where few people in the hotel, which made our experience even better. Overall we were very satisfied

I suppose for the money we pay the hotel must offer daily free shuttle to Tagbilaran...But they charge a very high fare for their car. This is not good.
The huge private beach and tranquility makes this place very unique in Panglao

Poor service - request for towels took ages. I finished swimming and the towels I requested were still not there. I had to wait at the reception so that they will take action.
- ordering in the restaurant takes a long time. staff won't notice you until you go to them and ask for the menu.
The staff are friendly. Its just their response time is so bad and so long.

my stay was both a good and bad one...first room given to me had a broken door, and they tried fixing it but service desk kept on insisting it can be fix, when i can see that it just won't work.anyway, they were nice enough to transfer me to a diff hotel BUT, your lanai is worthless if customers cannot see the beauty of the beach...mosquitoes were everywhere because there were too many seaweeds in our location...IT was a MESS. It would have been nice to place screens or maybe give heads up to customers of the situation.coz your advertising your beachview room w/ the lanai and yet no customer would be crazy enough to stay there and have the mosquitoes get their eating frenzy.

Bohol Beach club has very good beachfront almost comparable to that of Boracay. I commend the housekeeping service for their efficient service. The food though at their restaurants especially the buffet needs a lot of creativity, variety and food quality improvement

Not close (walking distance) to places to eat or stores so had to eat at hotel restaurant all the time (meals were not included in price, not even breakfast). Beach beautiful. New side of hotel looked great but we got rooms in the old side which seemed more like 2*hotel rooms to us.no fridge in room.ants in room.three pools to swim in and they were all nice and very clean.free glass bottom boat ride was nice. Location poor because it's not within walking distance to places to eat or a store so you are forced to eat at hotel restaurant which isn't very good. However, the location is nice because the beach is nice and not crowded with other resorts. It is it isolated so you have to rely on hotel to arrange taxi for you, etc. which is at hotel prices. bring cell phone so that you can call a taxi by yourself.
Value was good because it had a beautiful beach and nice, clean pools.

The room was adequate, the air conditioner is not as strong even on high. It was mounted on top directly across from the bed. The staff were very friendly, the food was OK, average. It is not close to town for shopping or outside dining (approximately 20 mins by car). I rented a car and drove to the tour sites myself. This allowed me to shop in town and dine outside. Definitely do the riverboat restaurant (there were several of them), don't miss seeing the Tarsiers and check-out the Chocolate Hills. Snorkeling is also great, as well as, scuba diving.

If you are looking for a value-for-your-money resort, Bohol Beach Club in Panglao will fit your needs. The place is private, foods are good and reasonable. Shoreline is nice. We were even given late checkout without additional fee (maybe because there are lots of rooms). The staff friendly.

My fiancee, who comes from nearby Lapu-Lapu, and I were impressed with the hotel from the very start. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful and the security was excellent. Our room was a superior garden side, very comfortable and very clean.
We soon found out that all the grounds and beach were kept incredibly clean and it was a pleasure to spend our days amidst the coconut trees and in the water.
On our first night my fiancee asked if we could eat at a table on the beach near the waters edge and the waiters and bar staff were only too happy to oblige.
The constantly varying menu was full of local dishes which were absolutely wonderful and the buffet breakfast was something to die for!
What more can I say, the staff were friendly, the service was excellent, and the surroundings paradise. We had a memorable 18 days there and will be going back again, especially for our honeymoon.
We would like to thank all the staff for making our holiday so fantastic, and fun!
See you again very soon.

What i like most is that it quiet there and we have privacy, even if there are many guests, they have a big location and you can still have privacy. The least i like is that their game room doesn't have board games for kids and no videoke.
