If you only have a short time to spend in Baguio, even be it for a few hours, treat yourself to a walk down Session Road. The city's commercial artery, Session Road is where you get your first bite of the charm and serenity of Baguio. Apart from a smattering of one-of-a-kind curio shops and fashion boutiques, Session Road also features an interesting array of culinary delights. Also known as the ‘City of Pines’, Baguio is the summer capital of the Philippines. Easily accessible by road from Manila, this cool retreat is a popular weekend getaway for many as well as a regular stop-off for international tourists touring the country.
Baguio has plenty of things to keep kids occupied with including Burnham Park and Camp John Hay, which offer a huge number of sporting options from tennis to skating. The Baguio Botanical Gardens offer relaxation in a beautiful environment and there is also potential for horse and pony rides.
Baguio has a good mix of festivals starting with the colourful Flower Festival in February. Additionally, there are a number of religious based events such as Senakulo as well as nationalistic celebrations of independence and heroes of yesteryear. Baguio has a long list of tourist attractions with plenty of variety. The cathedral is one of the most important buildings in the city and is an impressive site, as is the Mansion House, the holiday home of the Filipino president. The Ifugao Woodcarvers Village is the place to buy fantastic woodcarvings, while Maryknoll Park has some nice walking trails. The nearby town of Sagada is well worth a visit to see its renowned ‘hanging coffins’.

The nearest airport to Baguio is Loakan Airport, located about 20 minutes drive south of the city. The runaway at Loakan is too short for commercial jets, and only propeller driven aircrafts are able to land here. There are flights to and from Manila with Asian Spirit on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Flying time is around 50 minutes. Flights to Baguio are scheduled in the morning, as the afternoon fog can make landing difficult.

one thing i like the most was their free unlimited coffee, coffee is great!!!..coz im a coffee addict. another one was their very accomodating staff, and also thier bed was very comfortable to sleep.....
