I took a vacation without any real plan and I was happy that i chose the Luxur to stay in. I was surprised that The Luxur Hotel is of such comfortable standards. The room was nice a cold in both rooms and the bath room was excellent. The food was also very good and I especially like the idea that there is a Seafood Restuarant in the Hotel. Breakfast was veery good and so was lunch. The staff were all exceptional and they always greeted me with a smile. I never had to wait more than a few minutes for a Taxi and that being without a reservation. I just go outside and then a Taxi would suddenly appear. And the cost was very afforable for anyone. The hotel room was old but very good with one double and one single bed. the hotel was at the far end of the town not near the centre. The swimming pool is in the grounds (common area) of the hotel and ajoining telephone call centre company. In the same common area is a cheap outdoor restaurant which served small portions at reasonable prices.

The staff was punctual and efficient. Service was also prompt. It was also quiet and ideal for a getaway but was relatively near the major shopping malls. The rooms just need to be replaced with newer furnishings as they are rather dated. Inasmuch as the furnishings were old, the size of the room was big and we appreciated the room upgrade. The pool was big enough and it was good that a kiddie pool was also available. We were also able to use the hotel parlor though this too needs to be improved in terms of the furnishings. Security in our floor was appreciated where someone was always assigned to man the counter. The staff were very attentive and hospitable. Service was prompt as well. We had food sent to our room and the portions were generous. The food was ok and served promptly. More attention can be given to restore the hotel to was it was when it was first opened. More facilities can be provided to accommodate children. Playground facilities can be provided in its spacious lawns. Though it was located far from the downtown area, it is relatively near the major shopping malls which only takes a few minutes by car. It is located in a quiet part of the city which was relaxing indeed. Accessible via public transport.

The rooms and staff were very good good but the meals in the main restaurant were small in size, but i am know i will stay there again on my next visit.

It is a very nice place to stay in Bacolod. The pool and environs were very nice and the breakfast was also very good. It would be nice if a breakfast coupon were included in the price and the use of the internet were gratis.

I found the hotel to be very convenient to the airport, not so convenient to the town centre, however transportation (taxis) was very inexpensive. It is close to the nightlife and the amenities were very good. I did find a prevalence of small, seemingly harmless ants in the rooms however. Over all, I think it is very good value for money and I will be returning. The rooms could have done with a fresh cot of paint and there were some insects (ants) in the rooms. The rooms looked a little tired and there were some infestations of insects (ants).The business centre was well equipped and the wireless LAN worked well in the Lobby. The staff have always been particularly friendly. The hotel restaurant and bar were very good. Pool well equipped and maintained. Convenient to nightlife and the airport. Taxis and jeepneys were plentiful and inexpensive. A very pleasant environment. I think it is a great place to stay.

I have stayed here eight times over the past 5 months, and until now had no complaints, however on this occasion I needed to book a junior suite instead of a delux room (junior suite is more expensive), however there were no towels in the bathroom and the bar fridge had not been stocked. It was explained to me that the complimentary welcome dring was fruit juice, however when all I wanted was some water instead of fruit juice, I had to pay for that! I feel that such an attitude is an outrage. I am not sure whether I will return here, though there are not many alternatives in Bacolod.
