La Feria de San Jose International Agricultural Fair
Another of Panama’s major international fairs that centre on its abundant agriculture takes place in the Chiriqui Highlands.
 Carnival
Like many other Caribbean cultures, Panama celebrates Carnival with four days of parties, and claims to be the second largest carnival in the world.

Feria de Azuero
This festive celebration on the Azuero Peninsula features folkloric dancing, singing performances and agricultural exhibitions in Los Santos Province.

Palo de Mayo
This traditional Maypole dance and celebration is performed by young girls in Bocas del Toro and Bastimentos.

Dia de la Virgin del Carmen
Everyone in Bocas del Toro makes a pilgrimage to La Gruta, the cave in the centre of the island, for a mass in honour of the Virgen del Carmen.

Orchid Exposition
This beautiful event in the town of Santa Fe features the native orchids which grow in the Veraguas Province of the Chiriqui Highlands.

Feria del Mar
The Fair of the Sea is a four-day festival held on Playa El Ismito just north of Bocas town to celebrate the fishing traditions of the local people.

Foundacion de la Provincia de Bocas del Toro
This special day celebrates the founding of the province of Bocas del Toro in 1904 with parades and other fun events.
 Dia de Bastimentos
Bastimentos Day is a big party on Isla Bastimentos, featuring a parade and drumming performances.
