Rated #15 for all Oslo hotels

Excellent location. Very good breakfast. While in Norway we went away from Oslo for three days and chose to come back to this same hotel when we returned. Very small room but quite manageable for the two of us. Clean and safe. No AC which wasn't good when we arrived at the height of a record breaking heat wave, but probably not an issue most of the year. Everything in Norway is super expensive but if you go, highly recommend this place to stay in Oslo. $200 a night but nothing cheaper unless you want to do hostels, camp, or do the student thing. We're in our 60's so none of that works for u...

We're in our 60's so none of that works for us. Deli de Luca and TGI Friday's within meters of the place. Expect to spend $12 for a draft beer (about 60 NOK) and $5 for a cup of coffee (about 25 NOK). Go elsewhere like Trondheim and Bergen like we did. It won't be cheaper but you won't find prettier scenery anywhere on the planet. Especially recommend the Hurtigruten boat which runs from Bergen to the Russian border in the far north and back to Bergen - a round trip of about 12 days, which you can get on and off of when you want - we did Trondheim south to Bergen, about 30 hours but fun. Bring you own food and drink though or pay the prices on the boat). Maybe the exchange rate will improve in the next few years. Bob Sletten

The single rooms are very small, you cannot really move. But the location is excellent, good breakfast, clean and new bathroom.
