Rated #1 for all Te Anau hotels
This hotel was just on the outskirts of a very small downtown, so it was easily accessible with our rented car (about 2 minutes from hotel to dowtown center). It was right off the main road coming directly from Queenstown, so it was very simple to find. The room was clean and nice. It had a twin size be as well as a queen size bed in it. The only downside (although I think it may be the same for the whole town) was that it had 4 TV stations and the picture kept going in and out. rooms clean and nice size room for the price and quality (3 star) hotel we paid for. Great value for the price. We did not use the hotel facilities and chose to eat breakfast at a cafe downtown instead. There were cute cafes in town we decided to have breakfast at instead.Service was on par with or to be fair, a little better than what we received in the rest of New Zealand: rather unenthusiastic to tourists although it is their only industry.
Very clean and comfortable. The only thing was poor water pressure but that too was in a few other hotels we were at while in our stay in the country, so I don't know if it is fair to say that it is the hotel's poor water pressure. just off the main road (highway 6) and only 2 minutes by car to city center. Hotel offered shuttle service to town but we did not use since we had a rental car
