We only stayed overnight, flying from the airport next day. Went to downtown Aukland on the bus, an easy trip, worthwhile. Bit far from the airport, but they run an excellent (free) shuttle service.

The motel was quite dated, it felt tierd & was in need of an interior renovation.
airport transfer that I had requested when booking ticket did not arrive.
taxi charged $26 to drive 3km & got lost better signage needed at front gate
was only in room for 5 1/2 hours & felt rates were expensive for such a short stay

Having checked in purely for transit purposes, we were disappointed that the airport shuttle provided only ran at a frequency of once an hour. In order to "safely" meet our check-in time of 5:00am we assumed we needed to get the 4:00am shuttle... As it turns out the airport did not open until 5:00am and we were lft with a lengthy wait outside the airport in the cold! Needless to say the staff at the hotel did not appear to know this and or found it amusing to drop us off "early"...

Hotel had no dining facilities. Room was not very clean. We would never recommend this as a suitable stay when flying in or out of Auckland to others
