We wanted a room for resting just half a night, because we had an early morning flight to catch. Even at 3:30 in the morning, the staff was cheerful and efficient. The hotel is excellent value for the price we paid....

The room hadn't been cleaned, there were M&M's on the floor and mould in the bathroom. Cold water tap broke trying to turn off as it was already cracked.

I really can't give a full review on this hotel, because we booked in and immediately booked out. The room was hot and the air- conditioning didn't work and it was, apparently, unsafe to open the window. There were bolts, bars and warnings about security everywhere - very unsettling. The bathroom looked horrible and I would never have showered in there. Very poor standard after all the other fabulous hotels in NZ we had stayed at not very different rates.

this place is pretty run down and worn out looking but it was clean as much as it could be and the free shuttle service to the airport is certainly nice for late flights

Close to the airport, this hotel is basic, ideal for one night while awaiting pick up of campervans. right next door to the large industrial estate the hotel provides good pick up and drop off from the airport only. Breakfast is very basic. toast and cereal and of course tea and coffee. It did its job for us at the right price.

The free taxi service is the winner and booking through this site saved a bundle on the hotels rate, it does need a clean though in the rooms, they are doing this as we speak. the public areas are spotless and you can catch a bus to auckland to site see ovet the road for 20$ for a family of four, great value, loved the restaurant in the nearby left area. overall well worth what we paid at 42 pounds a night! Please clean it up though, the bed linnen was to used and faded there were 6 foot cobwebs and spit? marks on the fabric chair, all in all id go agai cause i saw the decorators in.
