Amsterdam's climate can be considered temperate and continental, with the city often experiencing the same winds and rains that Britain and Ireland experience, while also experiencing hot summer flushes that are more common in the likes of Orleans in central France.
Cycling can be done anywhere around the city, along its myriad of biking paths. The majority of Amsterdam residents own a bicycle and regularly cycle their way to and from destinations across the city, ensuring the city's low pollution levels. The city's bike paths are excellent and they often have their own separate sets of traffic lights, making cycling in Amsterdam much safer than in most cities.
Antiques Fair: held at Dam Square at New Church (Nieuwe Kerk) and one of Amsterdam's most endearing landmarks and attractions, the annual Antiques Fair is a favourite event for many of Amsterdam's residents. The event is also attended by a growing number of overseas visitors.
Hortus Botanicus have been around since the 1680s and feature thousands of plant species from all around the world. The gardens provide perfect respite from the city noise and visitors to the gardens in the springtime will be blessed with a sea of colour from the ubiquitous tulip collection.
Holland is one of the safest countries in Europe to visit. Although violent crimes are quite rare nowadays, petty crime is still a statistic and you should be careful in touristy areas, particularly the red light districts, on trams and trains and at the airport underground train station. Take standard precautions by keeping valuables out of sight and looking like you know where you are going.

This month's lucky winner is Mr. Laith Addabbas who lives in Jordan.
