The Annapurna is a well located older hotel. The staf does a good job, and from a safety, and security point of view, it's great.The downside is that as an older hotel, the 'duperior' catagory rooms are getting a bit old and in some there was a musty smell from the damp weather.SErvice-wise, a very good and attentive staff. The restauran, located across the parking lot is ok-- but not exciting with ohter less expensive an better choices in the city.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the De L Annapurna hotel, the location is fantastic being in the centre of the city and very close to the Thamel area full of great restaurants,bars and shops.
The staff in the hotel were fantastic,very welcoming and very helpful.
If I had anything negative to say it would be having breakfast in a 1st floor dining room which was pretty dull, I don't understand why they don't servr b'fast in one of the very nice restaurants on the grond floor.
I will definately stay here on my next visit to Kathmandu.
