Chatrium Hotel Yangon (Formerly Nikko Royal Lake Yangon Hotel) is where guests will find not only comfort and convenience, but a warm, personal welcome to Myanmar. Opened in November 1997, the Nikko Royal Lake Yangon Hotel is superbly sited on the shore of Royal Lake and evokes a graceful, colonial splendor. Traditional decor and the gallery-like expanses of the public spaces are true to the spirit of Myanmar.

Hotel location is out of the way. Rooms did not have internet and need to request before checking in, the hotel did not have any in the Superior room and the hotel have no choice to upgrade to Junior Suite and need to lay the internet line but the internet is very slow, it took quite a while then can received the mail but on and off the internet still not going smoothly. Hotel need to upgrade to meet the bussiness traveller with internet as it is very important for bussiness traveller for communication even when they are in holiday.
