excellent view if the Shwedagon Pagoda and the Lake, sumptious breakfast buffets, friendly staff, large clean rooms-- but the swimming pool was not in excellent condition probably due to the parties held there during our stay-- otherwise it would have been really great for the kids too. really value for money though...

There is nothing I can fault from this hotel. Every aspect of it was excellent and I thoughraly enjoyed my trip there and will return again.

Beautiful traditional style of building overlookiing the lake gave this hotel a sense of individuality. Outstanidng views of the pagodas from the balcony outside my room. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Virtually any international cuisine was available from the Swiss Chef to the local food but the fresh juices were fabulous. Never did find out why there was a huge statue of a dinosaur in the garden though.

Loved the Kandawaggi - definitely going back there. The staff was fantastic - went out of their way to be helpful. They were great and we made some good friends among them. The amenities were good and the swimming pool is the best in the world. Highly recommended!!!
