excellent view if the Shwedagon Pagoda and the Lake, sumptious breakfast buffets, friendly staff, large clean rooms-- but the swimming pool was not in excellent condition probably due to the parties held there during our stay-- otherwise it would have been really great for the kids too. really value for money though......

A beautiful property.... window in the room facing the lake and mini forest.... cooling weather, do not even need to switch on the air cond as it is windy...... Internet in the lobby is consistent and it is free!

my wife and ihad lake front room very nice view over lake ,bathroom was bit dated and there was problem with hot water not available 8.30 till 5pm but this was being sorted over next few weeks so shouldnt be problem in future
good location $2 taxi ride into centre Yangon about 10 mins away would recommend this hotel for a bit of peace amongst the chaos

Beautiful place, helpful staff, morning buffet very nice, great deal if booked online.
We did two stays at begining and end of trip, happy both times.
I even sat in with the band in the lobby. Good vibes in general,
and met nice people who were other guests there.
All in all and great choice for a Yangon visit.

there is no aid service when i was bitten by bilharziasis near the hotel river area
though the wound in my toe was small but was bleeding nearly 30 mins . after that i went to reception of hotel for requesting aid support.
the staff was very kind and helpful but i think because there is no aid service in this hotel after 10 mins the staff back with no doctor but only a piece of tape.

Beautiful traditional style of building overlookiing the lake gave this hotel a sense of individuality. Outstanidng views of the pagodas from the balcony outside my room. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Virtually any international cuisine was available from the Swiss Chef to the local food but the fresh juices were fabulous. Never did find out why there was a huge statue of a dinosaur in the garden though.

Loved the Kandawaggi - definitely going back there. The staff was fantastic - went out of their way to be helpful. They were great and we made some good friends among them. The amenities were good and the swimming pool is the best in the world. Highly recommended!!!
