This is an excellent choice if you go to Inle Lake. The hotel takes care of every detail: rooms are spacious, tasteful and spotlessly clean. Our room had a balcony with fabulous views over the gardens of the hotel and the lake. The staff was extremely helpful. You can arrange the boat service from the hotel and they have their own jetty. Food was excellent. Breakfast is included and we had a wonderful dinner in the garden. The hotel is about one hour from Heho airport. Tourists should be aware of the taxi prices at the airport. Prices are arranged by drivers and it was impossible to go cheaper...

Other than that, Inle Lake is a fabulous place to relax and see the local life with the fishermen, floating villages, tobacco, silver, bronze and weaving workshops.

We were happy in the hotel, especially for the location, the wonderful staff and and great food. The only problem was the lack of cross ventilation or air conditioning in the room. A ceiling fan is not enough.

The good things : the rooms are very well appointed, tastefully decorated with rattan / dark wood furniture. But the name can be be misleading as the hotel is not located on the water's edge and the lake can only be seen in the distance.
We booked the hotel after reading reviews on this website but were not pleased with the service we received. We felt that although professional the manner of hotel service was cold particularly when contrasted with our experiences in other hotels in Myanmar. We found that there are a number of more charming and reasonably priced hotels with better service and location around Inle Lake.
