Marrakech is a wonderful combination of delightful aromas, bright colourful marketplaces and the contrasting arid desert. Sometimes called Morocco City, this vibrant destination has long been known as the meeting place of southern tribesmen and Berber villagers.
Marrakech does not offer a lot of activities geared specifically towards children; however, its loud and busy atmosphere is enough of a distraction in itself. Coupled with the entertainment in the main square and quiet parks, the city will always keep the attention of little ones.

Marrakech Marathon: Each year, more than 5000 runners join in the Marrakech International Marathon and the Half-Marathon. The route is somewhat gruelling but at least temperatures are mild (20 to 25°C) in the day and the scenery is beautiful. The marathon is considered one of the fastest in the world.
