Location excellet, staff friendly only hitch was that as an elderly lady travelling alone I find myself sometimes invisible in restaurants. I once walked out of the restaurant in Majestic - I did by chance find an excellent restaurant nearby so I was happy.

The Hotel Majestic boasts an excellent location in the centre of Mexico City. It also has a very pleasant rooftop bar and restaurant where you can watch all the action in the Zocalo below. (The food in the restaurant is very marginal.) However, the rooms are a bit run down and the hotel is very noisy. We asked for a 5 am wakeup call which was forgotten. Fortunately, because of the noise we were already awake so no harm was done!
