Hotel is in much need of a face-lift...old rooms, basic, but clean. Hotel staff helpful but their English is sparse. Old and outdated. Charge to use phone, even if you have a phone card. Balcony door lock was broken. Air-conditioning was on HIGH, but didn't cool the room. Pool never appeared clean, scum floating on top all the time. If you tip, the service gets better, even though it is an all-inclusive. Good drinks. Right across the street from Supermercado, a mall, shops and numerous restaurants. Maids always sweeping, spraying and keeping areas and floors clean. No bugs seen. Entertainment good but old facilities.
Two pools, but do not appear to be regularly cleaned. Many children in pools
Taxi on demand. Buses also available and inexpensive.
