The grounds and the beach are beautiful, the food is good, and the amenities are nice, but for what you pay, the rooms are very small and basic, although clean and pleasant. I have stayed in identical rooms for less than half the price in other hotels on many occasions. The food was pretty good, but definitely over priced. The hotel is far away from any shopping or night life, and the only transportation are taxis, which for some reason charge a lot more to pick you up from The Fairmont and go the same distance as they do in other parts of Acapulco.
