I enjoyed my stay on this island as the staff werr terrific!
However - please note that this island is no more than a 3-4 star. This is refelected in the quality of the furnishings in your room - from the old sheets to the towels and the lounge suits etc. It could definitely use a serious investment or upgrade in furnishings and manchester.I stayed in an overwater bungalow - so I anticipated that this would provide a more qualitative surround.I was a little disappointed. Even the phone did not work and I had to actually challenge management to have it fixed. When I did - it was attended to promptly. However - this step should not have been required, particularly after travelling some distance to get to this island destination.
Also I felt like I was in a time warp - when it came to the restaurant food. I have visited numerous islands in the Maldives for holidays over the past 15 years - and I felt like the food that was being served up was very dated (from 15 years ago - particularly main courses and desserts)...very, very ordinary......they could use a descent chef!!!The island is very pretty and the house reef is quite nice.Other than that - it is the staff that makes this island worth staying at.
Kind regards
