Meeru is wonderful..a tropical paradise! The food is fantastic, incredible variety and quality, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Stayed in a Jacuzzi Land Villa, very nice, looked like it had recently been remodeled. Bathroom outside took a little getting used to. Room looked like it had been recently remodeled. The north side of the island is the adults only side, very nice, very quiet. The restaurant and bar had a more upscale feel than the southern end. Highly recommend if you are not traveling with children. Slightly bigger island than some, but never felt crowded. The resort offers plenty to of things to do and has entertainment (band, dj) several nights during the week. Highly recommend a trip to Meeru.
Food was amazing. Don't know how they can offer the variety and quality in such a remote location but they do an excellent job. Lots of variety and the appearance and quality of the food was outstanding. Housekeeping twice a day, room kept very clean. Outside bathroom did have a few ants and geckos but not sure how that could be prevented. pool is huge and looked to be very well maintained. The island is a tropical paradise. Very lush, but also maintained very well. There are staff sweeping the grounds all the time, getting rid of dead leaves, seaweed etc.
