Kenyir Lakeview Resort sits on a privately owned island overlooking an awe-inspiring man-made lake, the size of Singapore. The fairways and greens have been carefully designed so that it has the least impact on the environment, yet still provide a challenging game for golfers of all standards. Kenyir Lakeview Resort is every golfers dream...a place to get that 'hole in one' or just relax away from the green in your private 'world'.

The panoramic views offered by Tasik Kenyir are wonderful and will linger on as fond memories. The Resort has tremendous potential but due to poor maintenance and lax attitude, our experience was not a joyous one. It did not help that the manager was indifferent and missing from his office often. The air conditioner in our first room broke down on our arrival date around 3-4pm and we had to wait till about 6pm before the maintenance people came despite a number of calls. Failing to rectify the problem, we had to relocate to another room but due to the inavailability of the manager, we had to wait till 9pm before being relocated. Some of the other facilities were also poorly maintained. Having said that, the other staffs were friendly but were generally not fluent in English. The breakfast was good though limited in choice. The best part of the holiday was our booking using HotelTravel.com. We arrived with our print-out and were immediately given the keys to our room

Ramadan Bazaar: this bazaar is held every year to mark the end of the month-long fast of Ramadan. Towns and cities across the country organise their own unique events, with plenty of street vendors selling freshly prepared local dishes.
Diwali, this festival is the most important in the Hindu calendar and celebrates the triumph of good over evil. Also known as the Festival of Lights, it is a time to visit family, exchange gifts and attend ceremonies at temples. Fireworks and lantern decorations are also typical of this festival.
Eid al Adha: otherwise known at the Feast of Sacrifice, this event marks the end of the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca and commemorates Ibrahim’s willingness to obey God’s order to sacrifice his son. Each family is expected to sacrifice a cow or goat and donate part of the meat to those less fortunate than themselves.
