For my 2 nights stay, my family and I did not enjoy our breakfast as much. The authentic Malaysian cuisine is not what we expected at all. Other than that, everything else is in tip-top condition....

view from my first nite was facing the huge ventilation fan on the roof (how could this happen!)Got to top-up another 330 ringgit to upgrade my room for my another 2 nite. because there's isn't any single bed room available.
Again, Hotel Travel did not inform us that the hotel is having a renovation and shortage of room.

This hotel is old and it was obvious of the Club Room which we paid US$140 per night. It looked very ordinary while the furnishings were of the 80's. They needed 4 different staff to check us in and a couple were not very friendly. We Malaysians are known for our hospitality but some of the staff were not hospitable at all, one would wonder why they chose to work at a "5 Star" Resort. The concierge was not up to date with restaurants around town nor did they have the latest map of Kuala Lumpur. I was very dissappointed as that was my husbad's first experience in Malaysia and he wasn't impressed at all that he made me promise I will never book us in Sunway Resort again.
