Banding Island Resort is located on a man-made island in Lake Temenggor. From Kuala Lumpur, it is approximately a two hour drive on the North South Highway until Kuala Kangsar, and then another two and a half hours pleasant and scenic drive along the federal route from Kuala Kangsar to Gerik, and onto the scenic East West Highway. The total driving time is approximately 5 hours. From Penang, the journey is shorter at two and a half hours via the Butterwoth-Kulim Highway to Baling and then direct to Gerik to meet up with the East-West Highway.
