Front desk staff attitude n service not very good.....as a Five Star hotel n the room rate charge, its Not worthwhile!

very expensive food and drinks in the hotel walk 30mts along beach for quality cafes and bars at a quarter of the hotels prices

Beach activities within the hotel and just outside the hotel were fantastic and easy to arrange. Maybe more activities would be better - ie. there was no beach volleyball while we were there even though this was stated on the program.

The hotel provided a wide choice of restaurant and snack facilities with further choices in the nearby street area. The area outstide the hotel was very popular with the many street vendors willing and able to provide plenty of opportunities for you to spend your funds. The garden and swimming pool areas provided excellent opportunities to relax, read, swim or simply absorb the rays. The garden led directly on to the beach but this sometimes gave the impression of a minor transport route as a result of the horse riding, quad bikes and the popular para sailing facilities. The beach area was rarely used by families but this could have been the result of the excellent facilites available in the hotel garden. In common with other west areas, the sea was less clear than the Langkawi or east coast areas. The food, staff, management and cleanliness of the hotel was excellent and a real pleasure to experience - hopefully not for the only time.

the room furniture needs updating and the corridors appear bleak. the buffet breakfast was excellent. the dinner buffet was excellent-maybe a little expensive. centrally located-next to bus stop and restaurants. great pool - plenty of shade the only problem was that lots of sun beds had towels over them-we didn't know which were free

Sizable room for the price I paid. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is excellent with a good spread of international and local food. The way the food is presented is equally impressive. Walking distance to shops and eating places. The colour scheme of the hotel front view does not reflect the high quality standards that it upholds and gives the impression of the three star hotel. Sizable pools, ample area to relax in full view of the ocean. I have chosen the hotel once again for my Sept break.
