Had a great time at paradise sandy bay hotel. We got a good deal for the sightseeing tour organised by the hotel. ( we did bargain). Swimming pool was too crowded. Maybe because of the school holidays, hotel seemed to have full occupancy.Beach too was very crowded, full of the locals enjoying a picnic. Anyway, we liked the lively atmosphere but for those who are looking for seclusion & a private beach should look elsewhere. The breakfast by delifrance was too good. We were spolit for choice. Staff is overall quiet friendly & helpful. Hotel is recommended....

Very frankly, the only thing we were impressed with was the friendliness of the staff. The room was only so so. The air conditioning in the common areas were non existent and even the room's airconditioning was not working well. The airconditioning in the room that we occupied was even leaking and the carpet was wet. TYhis also happened in the other rooms that my famly occupied. We feel that the rooms could be better lighted. We were disappointed that there was limited choice for food and we had to go outside for most of our meals. We also thought the TV programs could be much improved, as in case it rained, there was little one could do in the hotel. But we would like to compliment the staff for making up for much of the disapointment we faced.

Had a great time except for the long delay at checking in due to the staff suddenly just pick up the phone and talk to another person while checking me in and just had me waiting at the reception for 10 minutes before I start complaining then another staff came to my assistance.Same again when checking out .
Hotel taxi was very cheap and helpful and you get to travel in their seven seaters .
We had a deluxe suite which was very spacious , shame about the pool , very small and the beach was not nice at all.We spent the remaining seven nights at the Golden Sands resort in Batu ferringgi and had a great time everything was up to our expectations.
If you want a big spacious room with a separate living area then this is a good hotel to stay but if you are looking for that extra for your holiday with good clean beach, nice restaurants and good atmosphere then the Golden sands is the best choice.
Never go to the garden restaurant opposite the hotel as we had a bad experience. The food was ok but we had lots of moths , flies and small lizards above our table and at one stage the lizards started jumping everywhere trying to eat the moths. So we had to exit the restaurant at a fast paste because we could not enjoy the meal with lizards hopping everywhere.

I was amazed with the quickness of checking-in and checking-out. Hotel staff is extremely friendly. The beach was crowded at the most of times. The breakfast was ok. Eventually, the hotel is recommended.

Rooms were a little dark, and there are more things to do in batu ferringi. On top of that the hotel staff was a little cold. SOme of them were very nice and very helpful though. Restaurant was ok, but there are much better restaurants ( Fantasy = great food) . Good vacation.

Room view, location and food is good. Only the waiting time for lifts is quite long especially if staying on a high floor. Private beach is clean.
