"The was a nice hotel although the buildings were a bit older than others in the area. Good value for being on the beach in Batu Ferringhi and right in the middle of the town. There was a bus stop and taxi rank right over the road and the nightmarket was also out the front. The staff were very helpful too. The reception was being renovated but they had a temporary one set up out the front and it was perfectly suitable, they also tried to minimise the inconvenience to the guests.
The only negative was the constant hassling of the locals trying to get you to do watersports or horseriding. They just sat in front of the hotel on the beach and everytime you practically looked towards the beach they were onto you. However I don't think this is only at this hotel I think it is a general issue at Batu Ferringhi, they are just trying to make a living."
