"Affordable luxury in a colonial style ambience, with a lot of charme. You feel familiar and at ease, the luxury is subtle and informal. The highlights are the swimming pool and the fantastic international breakfast buffet. You can choose between european, asian even japanese meals. And you can enjoy your breakfast outdoors in the still cool morning breeze looking at the sea. I could have stayed for breakfast the whole day."

"We truly enjoyed our stay in the E&O, the standard is really high and the sheer size of the rooms and bathrooms are impressive. Very nicely located at the sea (no beach, just stone wall) one can enjoy a nice view and enjoy the breakfast or the beer in the evening sitting near the pool overlooking the sea. Rooms were very big and nice, well maintained. Very nice lobby, restaurants and outdoor facilities.Very good service, as you would expect it. The afternoon tea with sandwiches and scones is a must. Breakfast provides ample choice for euopean and asian taste. Very nice pool near the sea with sufficient deck chairs and towels available. No garden, all public areas accessible also for non guests (taking pictures etc), little more privacy only in pool area. Location is central, walking distance to all major attractions in Georgetown. "
