There was a problem with the hotel's hot water system when we arrived. The manager explained this and asked if we still wanted the room. We agreed to take the room and the arrangement was that the housekeeping would bring hot water on request. However, there was still no hot water when we checked out 3 days later so this was an unacceptable condition for a hotel of this standard. No compensation was offered for the discomfort.
I have stayed in this hotel on previous occasions and have been very satisfied. It is conveniently located in the centre of Kuantan near the Mega-mall and has a superb restaurant, The Swan Restaurant, located within the hotel building. The included buffet breakfast was very good, and the staff are friendly and professional.
