Everything about this hotel was exceptionally good right from the bellboys, checkin and service in your breakfast tables...we were highly impressed at the way the whole operation espe.the breakfast of thousands were handled with such ease...excellent work--the whole fun and games were fantastic,the verious cuisines in your shopping arcade was superb--everything was above expectations---keep up the good work--hats off to the managemant and the creative team of this beautiful,expansive and innovative layout...even the cultural programs staged at the mall was great!!! All the best and do keep it...

i booked a delux room online but when i arrived i found out that the room is a small as a cage that 400+ RM. The room wasnt as clean as i expected as there were many insects and cockroaches running around and jumping all over the room. One day i was trying to have dinner in my room with my neice, after i opened the Pizza box, a cockroache ran into it and ruined our dinner.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I believe that what i paid was not worth the service i got...

It's really a famous and big hotel in Genting Highland, convenient for shopping with beautiful clothes stores. But room's a little small and food in the entertainment area is more expensive outsides.

We were staying in the Deluxe room. The room was very small with not enough space for luggages. There was no cupboard. There is no remote control for the 14" TV. Staff at the Reception were polite and helpful. Breakfast at the First World Cafe was below par and the dining tables did not have table cloths.

Overall, the hotel service and accommodation is fairly good. My husband and I just stayed overnight at the First World Hotel to celebrate my birthday at Genting Highlands after an Herbalife Supervisor's Academy training we attended at Putrajaya International Convention Center. The indoor and outdoor theme parks are great attractions of the place that we are planning to come back and take along our children. My only regret is that my Herbalife green tea container we accidentally left at the room ref when we checked out was not returned to us after following up with the housekeeping department.

I have seen the room picture before, but I trully surprised that the Deluxe room that I got was more like Standard room as I seen in the pictures. However, I did not care to complaint as I arrived late (10pm) and we were so tired (I brought my wife, 2 childs (below7yrs old) and a nanny), so we just went to bed.
The room is very2 small and I was not so lucky to have the room view inside, which I just realised that they have a Deluxe room with the view with slightly different price . There was no additional chairs as the Deluxe room describes in the picture, so as I said it is more similar to Standard room, which I believe should be cheaper than I paid. Another thing to regret is my room was locked on the second day, as I can not enter the room by using the same key card. My wife spoken to another neighbour who also had the same problem, that this kind of problem is a common issue in this hotel. Even the receptionist immediately know that I have that problem when I came that time. I could not believe that they can not fix this issue, as it took few minutes for me to walk to the receptionist, as the hotel is big.
Looking at the breakfast buffet, me & my wife were immediately laughing, because, all the guests were treated like in soldier camp. Thy breakfast menu was not changed for 2days with very minimum variations. With the same price, I can have a very nice breakfast buffet in a boutique hotel in Indonesia.
Lastly, the confirmation on the hotel was very late, compare to my booking to hotel in Kuala Lumpur with dates after the stay in Genting. At this time I would like also to appreciate to hoteltravel.com customer service in Thailand, Megan, who really helped me to have the confirmation as I call on that day. She did a great job.
In conclusion, I would like to say, that my experience staying in First World hotel in Genting was not nice compare to my other travel experience. However hoteltravel.com service for my travel is unforgettable.

The Rooms are very small but adequate considering the purpose of the stay was to use the casino facilities. The facility is linked to other hotels and facilities by walkways and moving staircases making getting around easy. The trip up to the mountain is awesome. Overall a wonderful experience.
