Rated #14 for all Pahang hotels
The 2-rooms apartment we rented were very big, clean and comfy. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was up to expectation. It can be considered as a pleasant stay, except the low water pressure in the morning during peak season and the faulty shower head in the master bedroom which resulted all of us had to take our shower in the 2nd room ! Thanks to Hotel Travel for the smooth and professional booking process. Will certainly use this service again....

Stayed 5D4N and 1st 3 days was really annoying as when raining the place seems to have many fallen pieces of objects almost every 1 to 2 hours till morning (couldn't sleep well). Room facing Apartments and was hot eventhou it was raining and no fan in it.Final day I can't take it anymore and complained. Got upgraded to a room with fan and very good hill view but was dirty and very old. Overall, I guess I'm dissatisfied with the price paid. Cameron is great place ;)

I like its location...which is near to most of Cameron Highland's attractions, e.g the flower farms, rose center, honey farm, Sg Palas Boh Tea Plantation, day market (lots of fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers etc.) and strawberry farms. It is not that far from Brinchang town, and Tanah Rata is only around 6-8 km away. Of course, if you go to CH during peak season then even a distance of 1km may take near to 30 minutes, due to massive traffic jam. What I like the most is since the attractions are nearby, we can just walk to the farms while leaving our car secure at the hotel's parking. And at daytime if you want to go to Brinchang or Tanah Rata, the traffic is not as heavy as that of the opposite side. Probably because most visitors stay at hotels/apartments around Brinchang or Tanah Rata. However, during nighttime, to go from Equatorial to the famous night market at Brinchang is a nightmare. It is advised to go maybe around 9.30pm to 10pm (during school holidays, the 'pasar malam' will open until 11.30, but there's a risk that most of the goods might be finished by then).
I don't like the service, though. ..so slow. Whenever we requested certain items from the room service/housekeeping, it takes such long time to arrive. However, maybe it depends on individual coz the bellboy for example was quite efficient, as well as a particular waitress (during breakfast).
The room is OK. The TV channel was also quite OK, so-so. The bed was huge! However I did not see why certain people complained about the smell, the mold etc...I couldn't find any of that. My stay there was quite nice actually. But the breakfast food need to be improved in term of taste (though the variety is quite OK, they even have a counter for some vegetarian food, even if from what I could see the food offered at the counter was somewhat limited)

Overall during my stay in Equatorial was ok,but lack in certain priviledges,
i expected deluxe room category should provide iron with board in every room. which i find other holtel have such privilege, instead i have to go down from level 11 to level 5 to iron my shirt.the ironing room in level 5 apparently shared with changing room which i find quite conjusted with crowded.this was made me very dissapointed as such most known hotel lack in this area,

The hotel looks already awful from the outside when you see the huge complex in the middle of the lovely hills - I can't understand who approves that... but unfortunately it's not getting better in the inside - the rooms are old, the bathroom was full of mould and the beds were not just old and uncomfortable, but also the bedsheets had stains.
Breakfast area was crowded although hotel was not even full and was rather poor than average - not much choice and fresh stuff - most of it asian cuisine of course.
All in all not recommandable, not even for just one night as we thought.

The hotel is looking very tired and in need of restoration, the room was very shabby not up to equatorial standards we have found in other parts of asia.
The staff were all very helpfull, The free? bus into town was a bit hit and miss.
Room shabby could do with re-vamp. Pool tables torn, easy chairs smelt could be better. Staff were all good. Breakfst only, Very good. Clean considering overall state of the hotel. Hotel public areas good, plenty of colour.Exellent position but to far out of town.

The blanket looks like been used for weeks without washing, really sting! If I can spot such unhygiene stuff, I believethe the rest of the clients should experience the same.
