Great view from my room on 15th floor. All staff I came into contact with were very friendly - even the security guard. The only thing I didn't like was not having my room cleaned until mid-afternoon. I returned at 3.30pm one day and couldn't relax until housekeeping had cleaned the bathroom and re-made the bed.

I book this hotel for my father thinking that it's one of the best in Maleka.. however, upon arrival, they are only only allowed to check in at 3.30pm and by then, my father was already very tired!! The reason given was that the housekeeping is cleaning up the room!! This only show that the staff are so inefficent!!! The next worst thing was, apparently there are some water leaking in his bathroom and he fell down the next morning when he went to the toilet!!! Anyhow, disppointment is the only word to describe this trip and i'll not book this hotel again!!!

This is an okay hotel but is in serious need of refurbishment. It is certainly showing it age. The staff are very friendly and helpful but the facilities are looking rather rundown. For the price however, I couldn't really complain. It wasn't too far from all the attractions, only 10-15 mins walk to Jonker Street or Dutch Square which made it a convenient location to stay. Choice of hotels in Malacca is limited in the city centre and this is a pretty good choice to consider.

Just a stone's throw away from major attrations in Malacca. Clean and nice-smelling despite its age. Hotel is well-maintained. Room was nicely made-up each day during our 3-day stay there. Will stay there again for sure if we should make a trip there once more. Good value for money.

Everything was excellent, the room was very comfortable except the bed and pillows. They are too soft and we ended up with backache aft 1 nite. The breakfast spread was ok but it doesnt meet 5star standard. The room and toilet was very well kept. Very friendly and helpful staff.

A very good hotel in the heart of Malacca. The only criticism would be the Capers restaurant which we found very expensive for what we received. Apart from that the hotel offers very good value for money

I was satisfied with most of the facilities. The service at breakfast though, was not 5-star. the waiters were young and kind of reluctant to serve. One of us asked for coffee, the waiter brought just for her and did not ask whether the rest of us would like to have a cup as well. There were no morning papers for all the 3 rooms and when I checked with the room service attendent, he said I had to make a request at the front desk, which was strange. When I did ask the front desk, I was told that the paper was delivered to every room. I later found a copy of the Sun under the door of my room, which was a free papr, instead of the Star. The other 2 rooms had no papers at all. Something is not right.

A very comfortable hotel, a quality establishment, somewhat set back from the city centre but cannot be faulted . Showing a little age but very good value for the daily tarrif. Had every facility you should require of a hotel of this standard. The room was large, with good window space. Excellent service from friendly and helpful staff. The public area and pool side area were of a sufficient standard, very spacious and plenty of seating. One of the best value hotels I have stayed at.
