The staff was wonderful! They accommodated my requests with smiles and always tried to find solutions to my requests. The one bedroom apartment was roomy, and the bed very comfortable. Breakfasts were included and the buffet was plentiful and delicious. The one time I ate at the cafe at dinner time I ordered a hamburger very well done and it came medium rare. After I sent it back and it came again, it was still pink so it was left largely uneaten. The manager of the business centre was very friendly and helpful, but I would have liked the centre to be open evenings, and also to be less e...

It was a great hotel except for 2 things:
1.) The water coming out of the tap is rusty water! we have to let it drain for almost 20 minutes before it gets better. The next morning we woke up, it is rusty again.
Room size is good. Not very clean especially under the bed. The pool were great! my kids love it. The staffs were very friendly and took time to explain to us everything we asked. It would be excellent if there is an entrance facing the Mahkota plaza. Breakfast is reasonable. Water from the tap is rusty, it is very dirty under the bed, table etc.
2.) The room was quite well maintain but not outside the room. The coridoor from the lift to the rooms was so spooky. It feels like we are in a vacant building.

The first impression of the aparment was very awful. The cleaniless rate is 4 out of 10. The room refrigerator was rusty, bathroom shower screen is very dirty, the housekeeping was not done properly - no housekeeping done on the 2nd day, on the 3rd day no towels were given. The bathtub was dirty. The buffet breakfast for 3 days were the same menu. amenities were very old. There were cockroaches outiside the hotel rooms. The toilet windows had no lacthes hence the safety of the apartment I took was at stack.I would rate this hotel as a 3 star status.

Very nice and spacious rooms, location near the shopping center, and very close to the historical sites, short walk away only. This hotel was better than I expected.Size of the rooms was spacious, and everything was clean. Nice pool, wifi (for cost), and couple of restaurants. Across the street was food court and shopping center, still in a walking distance to all historical places.

Location was consider best. I can access to the nearest shopping mall, food hawker and coffeeshop for more choices of food. The hotel staff are all friendly, responsive and caring. They answer all my queries . I have asked for the room to be make up , when we came back, i found that they did a great job. All facilities eg. tennis court, mini golf and swimming pool are cool. The only thing I strongly feel is, the room that we stay should be improve, as it look a bit old.

As it was the chinese new year period, the restaurant was full and crowded for breakfast but since we stayed at the Mahkota floor, I can have my breakfast at the same floor meant for the 20 rooms only. Though the food spread was not as good as the restaurant downstairs but it was sufficient for breakfast. Thanks to the duty manager, Mr Andrew Roy who was on duty that day. He was very hospitable and we had a personal service from him.
Fully renovated room this year. As it was in the Mahkota floor, so the service was good. Too crowded as it was chinese new year. Near to Mahkota Parade shopping centre

We asked for a triple room. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children. We were given a 2-bedroom) hotel appartment which was great in size. The appartment as well as the whole of the hotel, at least the parts we saw during our one night stay, was clean but very tired. The hotel must have been grand at some point, but I would say it desperately needs refurbishment. Breakfast was bad. We did not enjoy any part of it. Even the coffee was pretty awful. Eventhough the staff overall were pleasant, I would say there is space for improvement with a bit of extra training.
The location of the hotel is very good. It is central, walking distance from the most places tourists would visit. There are many restaurants nearby and a big shopping mall right across the road from the hotel. It has all the potential to be a great hotel and it is disappointing that it wasn't. We would rate it as a 3 star hotel. At US$100 per night, it was well over priced.

The hotel is old and pretty run-down, time for renovation. Bathroom old and not clean, towels were old. Need to have cloth to clean table and dry the sink area. Red ants can be found on sofa and floor. Can tolerate for a one-night stay but not more.

Went there all the way to use the kids pool slide but was so disappointed as slide was close. Playground was still closed under repair since 2004. Till today no improvement was being done & the hotel appear to be worst then ever. It seems that the hotel is in a budget control. Jacuzzi & pool fountain will not be turn on unless upon several request than they will turn it on & will immediately turn it off again if we leave the pool for a few minutes and upon return we have ask request again. Pool staff about 4 of them gather around one corner and chit chat among themself. Room was full of big red ants. Room Toilet was so terrible. Room corridor was excellent & beautiful but in terms of room is so terrible.

My non-smoking room had clearly been used by a smoker. The hotel first of all sprayed the room and then later moved me when I complained. I also had to ask for the tv to be tuned in.
