Pelangi Beach Resort is a perfect getaway for families with kids. It has two giant swimmingpools, both with slides, and also offers multiple activities in the Kids' Club, all week round. Food and drinks (also in-room) are reasonably priced. All rooms face either the ocean, the pools or two big ponds. Sorroundings are clean and green and the beach reastaurant recommendable. Location is pretty close to the airport. The only drawback is the room. The outside balcony is huge which is nice, however, the bathroom appears old and also a huge walk in closet takes up a lot of unnecessary space. But, as the sun is always shining in Langkawi, you tend not to spend a lot of time indoor. I definitely recommend the resort for a nice and relaxed family vacation.

The room facility is very basic for the rate charged. The foods offered were almost below averagre for thos class of hotels.

Overall good hotel, room could have been a bit larger but lovely setting around the pool. Great long weekend break with the family. Would recommend

Extremely friendly staff. Clean environment. Great additional offers (trips,...). Nice beach. Restaurants rather average and a bit overprized.

The beach is the most beautiful scene.You can swim in the sea , the sight of room is very nice!

We stayed at a pool side chalet near the second pool. It was an awesome experience with a lot of sun, swimming, and good food. I can easily recommend the beach massage as well. The only drawback was a few bug occurrences in the room.

Excellent place for relaxing, food is very good and good value for money, room, de luxe with sea view was spacy but quite dark. Nice beach but sea not so clear. Overall impression very positive

We loved the room. It was facing the beach and the sound of waves were hynoptic. We were there for four days. It rained for 2 alternate days. The day when it had good weather, it was fantastic. We had a holiday rep organised by the hotel who came to see us at the hotel lobby and had a day out around the island. We totally enjoyed ourselves. The food at the resturants in the hotel were impressive too, especially the one by the beach. We love the BBQ and the salad spread at the buffet was yummy. We had a few spa treatments at the hotel. Not very cheap but still worth it. Shopping almost non-existent. Overall the trip was restful, delicious food and friendly, happy people in the island makes the difference. We will definitely come back.

The location was great and the food excellent. Main criticisms were that the rooms themselves were a little tired, the staff didn't speak English very well, and that the resort played very loud pop music every night - making it difficult to relax in the evenings without leaving the resort.
