Actually, it was my relatives who stayed in the hotel, upon their arrival in Singapore, they told me that the hotel is very cosy, clean, staff were nice and courteous and convenient to everything. They are retired people so they really liked the location, service and the food. They told me they will recommend it to their friends and I really received a good compliment of choosing your hotel. thanks....

Surrounding area is a little bit messy because the location is in Chinatown. However, the hotel itself, service, security and room facility are good.

In my opinion I would rate it a 2-star: small and stinky rooms, old, no windows, not a great help for tourist (e.g., no city maps), and a bug, a roach, on the bread breakfast.

I would be very generous if I gave this hotel a 2 star rating. The room was tiny - no drawers - no closets - and a toilet seat that was half off the commode. No sugar substitute was offered. Their glasses were for midgets - about one gulps worth. Never again!!!

Clean, great position in heart of China town and cheap taxi ride to many major shopping malls and tourist sites. I had a quiet room away from the noise of traffic and the market area. Plenty to eat for buffet breakfast. Overall good good value for money. Six computers for internet access 6RM per hour but sometimes slow connections.

One of the girls at the front desk (the tallest one) was extremely nice and sevice minded - great!Unfortunately the rest of the staff did not seem very interested in service. Examlpe 1: My boyfriend and I ordered the same meal, and his arrived ten minutes before mine. That can happen, but you'd expect some kind of apology, which we did not get. Example 2: The computers in the internet room wasn't working, and I had to tell the staff three times and wait for ten minutes before anyone even came to have a look. Seemed like they were not communicating at all. Even though we didn't pay a lot for our stay, service should be included!

Excellent location right in the heart of China Town. The room was slightly tired but excellent for what we wanted - a base for 3 people. The reception staff very friendly, although this area could certainly do with refurb. Buffet breakfast was excellent.

Everything is good in this hotel except the tap water quality. It looks dirty / brownish in color. Our entry magnetic card to the room malfunctioned twice, it failed to open the room & was replaced but only on the second incident that they warned us not to place the card near a digital camera or cellphone. I will think twice before coming back to the same hotel.

This is a well managed city hotel located in Chinatown with direct access to Petaling Street market. Very short distance from the monorail, LRT and city bus service connections, so it is very good as a base for exploring the city centre. For this reason I would definitely use this hotel again for a short stay in KL.
The hotel concierge arranged a minibus to take us to KLIA airport which was cheaper for 2 people than using the Aerocity Express train. A good buffet-style breakfast was included in the price of the room. Our room was on the third floor at the rear of the property overlooking Petaling Street market, but even so it was not noisy. The room had a small - but adequate - en-suite shower room.

The bathrooms need a good makeover, that was the worst part of the room.
Also, we had requested a non smoking room and the room stank of smoke.

We booked in for our first 6 nights of vacation, and later decided to keep staying in that hotel for the rest (another 6 nights). We lowered our expectations in terms of our hotel requirements and fully enjoyed our stay. We used it for bed and breakfast. Even sometimes, we had breakfast in our room. If there is one thing about this hotel, it is the location. In the end, we saved the extra money that we would have spent on another hotel for the 2nd part of our stay and splashed it on shopping ;-). Ideally located to the Pasar Seni LRT station (take the Petalling door of the hotel, turn left, walk 50 meters, turn right and walk for 200 mts straight). And, a 100 meters further, you will find the Kommuter station. With these, you can join any part of KL (Kuala Lumpur) and even outside KL. You will be at the heart of Chinatown, close to Little India, and not far away from the classy Bukit Bintang Walk.

Firstly, honestly I don't like the first impression of the hotel but once I check in, I do love the place and area for shopping but the room is a bit small to me and without window. The waitress in the restaurant is not really friendly and they only smile at the English people. Other than that it's ok. Going to stay at the hotel again soon. Thank You. Room service and reception counter are ok except for the restaurant staff. Some of the ladies no smiling at all while serving.
im not using taxi but my friend's car. So I have no problem with that except hard to find place for parking.

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I checked in and there was no towels. I asked for it and thye said they do not have any and pronmised me in 2 hours. I waited over 3 hours and then complained to get some of the towels. During night, I realized that one of the leg of a bed is broken so I slept in my legs bending down. They said it will be fixed next day but offcourse they failed to keep up the promise. The whole room was stinky, full of bad odors. Just a miserable experience. Please do not use this hotel.

Swiss Inn Hotel has a direct access to the Chinese Night Market (Pasar Malam) in Jalan Petaling. The Hotel has two entrances - the one in Jalan Petaling and the other one on the opposite side of the block. The Jalan Petaling entrance is closed around 11pm - so if you come back late from shopping, you have to walk around the block (which is not too far). In Jalan Petaling and side streets you find a lot of shops, not only stalls and restaurant and food courts. In that area you can also find some 7-11 and of course at least two McDonalds. The shopping mall Mydin is about 500m away and offers a lot of cheap stuff (linen, earrings, watches, etc.). In front of Mydin you will find a bus station. If you follow Jalan Pudu in the direction Pudu Station you will find some more Shopping Malls (take a taxi - 5 minutes drive)
The market place is within walking distance and two temples (Chinese and Hindu) are situated in a paralell street to Jalan Petaling. The oldest chinese temple Sze-Yeoh is near the market place.
