The hotel is located on Bukit Bintang which is a shopoholic's dream come true. All the plazas are within walking distance. The staff are extremeley friendly and helpful. Their command of English is much better tham my Malay! The concergie staff were very helpful in arranging private tours and directions to tourist attractions. Highly recommend to potential travellers. ...

Royale Bintang is in an excellent location, close to everything. Buffet breakfast has an excellent selection of good quality food with friendly staff to greet you for breakfast. The rooms are spacious and clean with modern furnishings. My only complaint was when I checked in I wasn't asked if I want a smoking or non-smoking room. I was given to rooms that were connecting as per my request but they were smoking rooms and absolutely stunk. I went down to reception and was given two new non-smoking rooms miles away from each other. Two days later, we were changed to two more new non-smoking connecting rooms.

I was most impressed by the concierge staff, who were extremely helpful and mad fo an excellent visit. The only down side would be the traffic around the hotel area late afyernoons and early evening.

There wasn't any complaint from me, my wife and my son during my stay in the hotel. The services that I've got just about more or less as much as our expectation. Compared with other hotels in the location, Royale Bintang is more preferable. I will recommend any body who plan to go to KL - if want to stay in Bukit Bintang area - to stay in Royale Bintang Hotel. The swimming pool as a matter of fact is very small. But it's still ok, since I didn't want to spent so much time in the pool. There's many thing awaited for me to do in KL.

We spent five days at Royale Bintage and found it to be very clean, close to all amenities and staff very friendly. It was in easy access to Imbi Monorai. Rooms were cleaned everyday. I would not hesitate in booking this hotel again. We had no complaints about the room at all. The great part weas that the rooms had a notice about eco friendly linen. Which I thought was great. We don't change our linen every day at home so why do it when on holidays. Great to see someone trying to look after the environment. Everything we need what available. The pool was very clean and towels readily available. Had breakfast supplied in the coffee shop each morning. There was alway plenty of food and a good variety of western and asian foods. It was a very busy coffee shop but never had to wait for a seat or table. Only ate at the coffee shop for breakfast as stated above and found very good. Locations was within walking distance of everything. Two monorails stations very close by and many shopping centres available to plenty of places to eat and shop. Plenty of taxis outside the hotel always waiting to take you somehwhere and two monorails within walking distrance.

This is my third stay consecutively for 3 years during CNY. I like the location of the hotel as it is right smack in the bintang shopping belt. Excellent food is available a stone throw away in Jalan Alor. I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends. Hoteltravel is very efficient in the booking of this hotel.

Firstly, the reception check-in area was very slow eventhough there aint many check-ins. It took more than 20mins. Secondly after the long wait, upon entering the room, I was given the small suprior room instead of the Deluxe room which I had booked & Paid for so it wasnt worth paying for & stuff there did even bother to see the difference between Superior room & Deluxe Room all they know is the difference in charges rate but not in room wise This wasnt my first time staying here so I know the difference of the rooms. My advise to all is its worth paying for Superior rather than to book for Deluxe. The Breakfast food doesnt change at all...just the same boring breakfast . Just a walking distance to the Malls & food area

Great location. The hotel is located at the Bukit Bintang area, various shopping centers are just a walking distance from the hotel. The staffs were friendly and of great help to us, especially those who were in charge at the concierge. The breakfast??? We were hesitant to taste some of the Malaysian foods that were available at our buffet breakfast. It seems that it was not palatable to us. We just ate sausages, fruits, and tried on some of their pastries. The room??? It was OK. The bathroom was clean, carpets were also clean, all were in good condition. They clean the room upon request. Just that they do not change bed sheets everyday. Overall, it was worth staying at Royale Bintang.

The location was very convenient as it was near the major shopping complexes. What we liked most was that there was a free shuttle service to 'the curve'. Breakfast was also very good. The downside was that our tv reception wasn't that good and as noted by other people's reviews, the carpet looks 'old'. The interior furnishing was basic and needs an uplift. Otherwise, a good hotel.

I booked a 4 Deluxe Room and all 4 come in different combination. Room 1212 - King Size bed. Spacious Room 1214 - Queen size bed. Find it a bit smaller compared w 1212. The aircon was not functioning well, very warm inside the room. Room 1618 & 1611 - 2 Single Bed. Both room ok and come with bathrobe. but toilet was not functioning well for room 1611. Overall experience is fine. I think most hotel in Malaysia do not have good property maintenance. BY the way, how do you know you getting the correct room type? Anyway to check?

The people there are friendly and prompt but out of the three times the cleaning lady changed the sheets only once. Near the shopping area and the most active location in KL. The rooms and corridores were clean, but the carpet was a little worn out. taxis are available, the hotel is near the Monorail station.

The room was acceptable but the carpet was in need of a clean. We were unable to take breakfast on any days of our stay as we were not prepared to queue for 20/30 minutes for a table. Wi Fi was only available in the reception/ lobby area, the cost was expensive, you also had to use the minimum time you could purchase (4 hours) all at one time. You were not able to log in and out and use the 4 hours over a period of time. The staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. A metered taxi to the Petronas Twin Towers was R5 a hotel taxi was R30, Leaving the hotel by car was a problem at certain times during the day as the road outside the hotel was very very busy.

The bellboy was awesome and very helpful! however, the service at the front desk was not that great, they were unfriendly and unhelpful, and I had to try my room key myself three times as it was not working before they actually sent someone up to help me. Very close to many malls and eating places, very touristy area. close to china town, as well as the twin towers. taxis available all the time, good prices. Food wasn't bad. Not amazing by any means. But good. The swimming pool closes too early, the sign says 7:30pm but it closes by 6pm. And it was ridiculous the amount you had to pay for internet, every other hotel i have stayed at during my holiday had free interent. The carpets were stained as well, and the doors were rotting, and paint was peeling off, and the bathtub was too high. This was unacceptable for a four star hotel.

Too much chemicle were dilute in the Swimming Pool which causes our eyes to turn red after 10minutes of swimming and its terribly bad for my kids. The staff there keep on checking the pool water & keep on pouring chemicle into the pool while guest are swimming. Its really unprofessional in doing so. They should have done all this job night time after the pool is being closed not in the morning at 1030am when guest are using the pool.

This hotel is well-located, right in the middle of the busy Bukit Bintang area. The room was fine: clean and spacious with cable TV. Breakfast was abundant and well-presented. I enjoyed the pool. The only negative I have to report is that it can be a bit noisy, owing to its location. Other than that, Royale Bintang is a solid 3.5 star and great value for money.

Room was not ready at 5PM although general check-out time is noon. Non-smoking room was not allocated. ABF was sumptous, but many items run out quickly due to heavy growds. Location is superb. Reception staff was utmost patient despite the fact that their IT system was down and many customers were really upset due to lenghty waiting time for services.

Hotel room is so small, especially when need to add in extra bed. Phone cable in room faulty but not noticed. Hotel staff not helpful when enquired about small room. Service quite bad for a 4 star hotel. Counter staff no smile when servicing check in guests. Hotel is well located but not worth the price for a 4 star hotel. Housekeeping dept was prompt and efficient, except not opened 24 hrs. Will ask others to try out nearby hotels
