For a 'nominal' amount we were able to upgrade from a very reasonably priced deluxe room to a suite which proved excellent value. The reception staff and 'personal butler' were helpful and attentive lkeading me to conclude that this was among the best levels of service I have enjopyed in a long experience of quality Asian hotels. The full breakfast was served hot and promptly by efficient and friendly staff. This was a first class hotel experience and the price was right.

Although it was nice time to stay on Malaysia but unfortionatly the Ritz was bellow the expectations. The stuff were kind but nonprofession, the consierge was very bad spcially during morninig they need long time to answer and then to help!. The business center is non-efficiant and you need to pay to use the internet!!!!!. In conclluasion in comper with other hotails in my trip over the country it was the lowest level.

What a wonderful hotel - from the time you walk in the door 'The Ritz' experience is unique. The rooms are large and confortable and the bathrooms are well appointed. What sets this hotel appart is the friendly dedicated staff who are more than willing to help. And of course having your own butler on call 24hrs is the icing on the cake.

The service was superb. The hotel was quiet and whenever we were attended to, we felt that we were treated like the only guests in the hotel. The location was good. A new shopping mall called The Pavilion had opened just minutes away from the hotel. The room was superb and the free internet connection in the room was great. Our only disappointment was the quality of the breakfast. But overall we had a wonderful time at the hotel.

Overall, the stay was excellent. However, although we were provided with a valet who took about 15 minutes of our time, including time to plan our deaprture, with taxi plans, a wake up call, and coffe delivered to the room since we had an early morning departure--none of that ever happened!! Fortunately, I set my own alarm or we would have missed our flight. We then had to rush through the restaurant to grab something to eat after we checked out. The porters were extremely helpful in facilitating this at least. Also, we ate in one of the restaurants in the Food Gallery, and it took about 20 minutes to settle our dining bill because they didn't seem to be set up with the hotel to send it through. All in all, they were minor things which didn't affect our stay, but as you are a hotel with extremely high standards, you should be aware of these small things.

Well-known reputable hotel should not ask new customers to pay 500Ringgit bond upon arrival as they take the person's credit card details anyway. I hope they will pay me back. The amount they said they will refund hasn't showed up in my credit card statement online yet,,, I am a bit concerned but will see,,,,,

Hotel is located in good part of town. Staff were most eager to please although some times it takes a few repetition to get yourself understood (but this seems to be a general problem with KL). I would definitely go back to the Ritz again if visiting KL

Staffs are polite but irresponsible to services. Toiliet was not clearned upon arrival, telephones were not functioning, reserved transportation was not avairable at reserved time, maintenace stuff took 40 minutes to come and elevators had malfunctions and more.

Our stay at the Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur was a first class experience. The staff could not have been more friendly and efficient, providing great attention to detail. The hotel has a lovely old world charm with excellent modern amenities, the gym and steamrooms were the best we have ever seen. Its location is ideal, the hotel even a has skybridge that takes you into the most amazing shopping and restaurant complex, Starhill. Highly recommended.

This was the final leg of our far east honeymoon and frankly we were disappointed with the standard of the hotel. It only had one restaurant which we did not use but popped in for a look and were disappointed with the surroundings and choice of menu which was limited.They did not acknowledge our honeymoon needs as opposed to other hotels and could only supply "HAPPY HONEYMOON" pillowcases, although they knew we were on our honeymoon. Not very romantic.There were no tea/coffee making facilities at all in the room which was pretty small in comparison.This is not what we would have expected from a 5* hotel of such supposedly high standards.We have stayed at the Ritz in Bahrain,Sydney,Singapore and Bali all of which were first class including the facilities and the welcome. The room was next to the elevator which became noisy as the evening wore on and the outside noise died down. All the times we rang the concierge they were not available. For the standard of room and dining facilities very poor value we wont be back. KL was vibrant cosmopolitan and very interesting and the hotel location was excellent in regards to this but that was about as far as it went.
