Rated #43 for all Kuala Lumpur hotels
The staff were pleasant and most helpful, standard of rooms were excellant and comfortable. Restaurant was clean and standard of foods were first rate although choice was limited but adequate. Location was within walking distance of the "golden triangle " the main shopping centres....

Rooms serives is poor. I called up to request for the toilet roll and bath gel.
About ten minutes time someone sent me the toilet roll and without bath gel.
So I ask him to sent me bath gel. Wait about 20 minutes still not receive the
bath gel. I call again the room sevices line request bath gel. She told me that
will send over. At the end wait until another 30 minutes when I check out still not
receive yet. I felt very diappointed. What type of sevices they provided ?

This is our third time at the Radius. The location is excellent. Close to upmarket eating and close to hawkers stalls, all offer good value. Staff can be a bit on the slack side, but they never rude. Is one of the worst breakfast buffets in town. If you like your food hot, good luck. If you are willing to forgive a poor breakfast then this is a good hotel. Is value for what you pay, and we have stayed at 6 hotels in Bukit Bintang.

The stay started poorly. Our card key didn't work and front desk treated us like we didn't know how to use it. After sending a security guard, a maintenance guy AND the card key programmer, THEY couldn't open it and gave us another room...30 minutes later. Internet never worked for our three days ("server down"). There was construction/renovation going on and the hotel seemed old or not well maintained. The rooms were dimly light. Our bed sagged. The mini-bar was empty. We sometimes had to wait a full 10 minutes for an elevator to come to the 16th floor. They supposedly cater to business travellers, but we had to sit and wait (30+ minutes) for breakfast until 7am on a weekday (even though our coupon said it started at 6am). For the money we paid, we were disappointed.

The location of the hotel was superb but the condition of the room we got was awful. The sheets smelled and there was some damage in the bathroom wall which did not really give me and my girlfriend comfort that it was OK to take a bath there.

The room is great. very comfortable and clean. The front desk should smile more and be more accomodating and approachable to their guest. the restaurant on the ground floor should be renovated. The area doesnt look so clean. There's a need to change the furnitures at the lobby since it looks really old. The lobby area is not impressive. The bellman, security guard, conceirge and housekeeping are nice.

the hotel advertise on internet satelite TV and has only 2 english movie channels, no BBC or CNN. Unfortunately, as it is in most hotels arround this aera like Capitol and Federal. The breakfast room is to small, very crowded and allows smoking in one half of the room.

I have travelled to Kuala Lumpur many times and I can safely say the Radius is the noisiest and worst hotel I have experienced in Malaysia. The hotel is in desperate need of a complete makeover renovation, cracks in walls, peeling paint, badly stained carpets, paper thin adjoining walls, leaking toilets and water seeping through walls from next door, agonisingly slow lifts, the list is endless.
Most mornings you had to queue for a seat at Kopitiam for breakfast, usually the wait was between 5 to 20 minutes, which was time wasted as the quality of the food was very poor with little variation in the menu daily.
No cable/satellite TV only Vision 4 only two English speaking channels, health and fitness centre closed indefinitely, no internet access from the rooms I occupied on levels 9 and 13 so you had to use the hotel PC's in the business centre or your own wireless laptop sitting in the foyer to get a signal, only if you could find an available seat.
Bathroom towels were a disgrace, badly stained and thread bare, two weeks at the Radius was all I could endure, hotel rating needs to be reviewed, definitely not 3 star by any stretch of the imagination, checked out 7 days early moved to another hotel.
If you are thinking of staying in KL in the Bukit Bintang area do yourself a favour and not think of staying at the Radius International.

Overall ambience is good enough for a few days. The partition wall between room may need to change as voice from next door is loud and clear. It's really bad when u need catch a plane early next day.

The taxi driver in front of the hotel; We agreed at 75 RM inclusive of all expenses to the airport but while we were on the highway he asked for toll fee and some extra charge of 8 RM. I had no choice.

On arrival after 17 hours of travelling, quite early (a young lady at reception promised us a room at 7 am), upon returning at 7 am the gentleman at reception knew nothing about a room being available for us and the young lady was no where to be found. After a long discussion a room was found. While this worked out ok, its not a very professional service to say something and then not follow through with such.
The young lady in question was noticed at reception on other days , so she does work for the hotel. Possibly she forgot to write down a message at change of shift or didn't have the authority to promise a room, nevertheless it was not a nice thought to be promised a room and then have to haggle for one! Food was of good quality but beer in lounge was a bit expensive. Close to shopping but a little difficult to get to hotel, at least the cab driver new the best route.

Radius International Hotel has a good location, it is near shopping centres. Oppsite road is a roadside hawker where there is lot of delicious food sold. But the price is bit too expensive. It also near the Berjaya Times square Shopping centre.
As for hotel room, the premier room are not that impressive. But i still give it a rating of 7/10.
Staff are friendly. The Kopitiam serve good food 7/10.
Have a foot massage centre, too bad no body massage centre(Closed down liao)
Given a choice, i will chose Radius International Hotel Again.

We weren't too impressed with this hotel as our room was extremely dirty and covered in stains and our bathroom had a horible leak that wasn't fixed. It was in a great location but I wouldn't stay there again for what we paid. The hotel has a seperate floor for people who book the rooms over the internet for a cheaper price and so you end up getting the dirtier rooms than other people. Great location. A five minute walk to most of the shopping centers and 15 minute walk to the nightclub spots. Food wasn't too bad but the choices were very limited, especially for westerners. My best friend and I travelled there not expecting anything fancy. All we want is safe and clean. We felt safe but we were just disappointed with our room. We definitely didn't let it ruin our trip though.

I highly recommend this nice hotel. People are quite friendly and helpful. Location is great, very close to BB plaza and other very big shopping malls (including the paradise for buying computers). Although, I travelled more than 24 hours form my city to KL, it was a real pleasure to be a guest in Radius International Hotel. Excellent place for a very good price.
