It was my first visit to Kuala Lumpur and I'm glad I didn't pick the wrong hotel. The hotel location is very strategic, just right in front of Times Square Mall and just a few steps away from the famous Bukit Bintang shoping area. The hotel staff are very nice and helpful. The hotel facilities are complete, all you need during your stay will be fulfilled. The rooms are great with two queen sizes bed, bathtub, mini bar, working desk and even an ironing board in your room, what else do you expect ? For all the things up there, it was a very value of money! Best value, best location and best services. You will save your money for transportation as long as you are strong enough to walk.

In terms of location is excellent, and the lobby large both in the reception or the floor the next. Suitable for families, individuals, groups, and tourist attractions. The rooms are large and suitable for the family, and the breakfast excellent with variety of all. Opposite the hotel is situated Time Square, and to the left of the hotel complex for the computer, and behind the hotel is located Arab Street. There is a negative of the hotel is the lack of Internet for free.

The breakfast was excelent with various kind of tasty cuisines and hospitality. We stayed there with my family including foot- injured son and recieved home-like hospitality with a lot of hotel staffs to help him. We'd like to stay there again! Perfect access located in the shopping center of KL was also preferable for foreign visitors like us.

I arrived at the hotel at 12pm, concierge asked us to come back at 2pm, but we only got our room at 2.30pm. Asked for late check out but was declined. Nevertheless, the breakfast was Excellent, exceeds our expectations. Surprisingly tasty but the replenishing of the food is too slow. Location was perfect! Very close proximity to Sungei Wang, Lot 10, Jln Alor, Times Square, Pavilion, Fehrenheit and in future, Starhill Gallery (new up-market shopping centre) So besides the normal attitude of the staff and the late check-in, the location of the hotel makes up for it. Room wise, small and atrocious! But I've stayed there before and had a larger/nicer room, so not complaining here.

The hotel's location is perfect just right in front of the Time Square and the monorail. The hotel staff are wonderful and friendly. The breakfast is great. It worths the price, I highly recommend!

My first request during check in was a king size , thank you Melia ! The front desk staff is nice and friendly, room is big , fantastic clean. Walking distance to train is so convenient and best of all my daughter like to have Starbucks nearby. Breastfast is not too bad, food is satisfactory . Thank goodness for price wise I found HotelTravel.com and booking is so easy. Will book again if price is right.

The breakfast area has always been very cramped and its quite tricky trying to manoever around with your plate and people.You will also need to pay for wifi which I personally think should be free!

The Melia is a quality hotel with friendly staff and great facilities. It's very clean, quiet well maintained. The breakfast spread was fantastic. The hotel is located right in the city shopping district, and the monorail runs right past the front door if you want to hop on and trip off to Chinatown or the KLCC towers.

Pretty much satisfied with our stay of 3 nights but problem was sound proofing was bad between rooms and also the toilet flush was going crazy on it's own right through the night. Also , could have better provisions and attendance by the pool. Otherwise, most impressed with the close proximity to the centre of shopping attractions.

Great breakfast and bar service. However,although room had a tobacco odour even though we were supposedly on a non smoking floor. We will be returning on 14 jan so we hope that this problem will not reoccur.

The hotel staffs are friendly and have good service attitude. I was offered to upgrade my room to a higher category, when the counter staff realised that one of my request has not been met. Room is clean and spacious. The breakfast also has a good variety of food. Will definitely return to this hotel next time I visit KL. The room rates is good value for money too, and location is strategic at walking distance to Bukit Bintang. Keep it up Melia!

The restaurant has a limited menu and does not give enough attention to Malaysian cuisine and the standard was, for the price average. The hotel is looking a bit tired but still offers excellent value for money.It is close to the monorail station and well located opposite a typical nondescript Malaysian shopping mall. If you think Starbucks is good there are two close to hand and Nandos and Burger king etc etc

Hotel is very conveniently located close to the major shopping district in KL and also within reach of the twin towers and China town. The monorail stops in front of the hotel. Some minor flaws were the keycard that gave up 2 times in 2 days so we had to get a replacement at the front desk, and the complicated way of getting internet access (via TV menu).

Hotel ideally situated close to Shopping Plazas and next to Low Yat Plaza for excellent computer and cellphone deals. Close to MRT. Internet facility in Hotel Lobby. Excellent Breakfast and Dinner Buffet. A nice clean hotel. Was busy with upgrading rooms when we were there.

Staff from Room Service spoke poor english and mannerism ws poor. She didnt pick up my first call and i tried again afterwards, she picked up almost when i wanted to give up waiting.On the better side, I like the fact that the bathroom was clean and ample toilettries. Room ws kept clean fast. Front desk - we checked in on fri night and the staffs there were very polite and fast. While the check out staffs were quite slow in their job. Kept us in line for almost 20mins. Most of the staffs did not have eye contact with the clients and didnt smile.

The Melia is perfectly located in the center of KL's shopping district making it so convenient for shopaholics. The malls are just walking distance in any direction from the hotel. I used the site to get us the best value for money. It was a risk as this was the first time we used a site to book a hotel. the risk definitely paid off.

the Customer service at the lobby is very good. I forgot to bring my hotel voucher which proves my booking for the hotel room when i reach Melia. They managed to check on my booking very quickly and actually ungrade me to a higher standard room than deluxe. They also given me all rooms on the same level and offered a link room for me so that my parents can come to my room and play with my kid in the hotel. It was very convenient for them.

Fantastic Location! Stones throw away from Berjaya Times Square, Imbi monorail station and Low Yatt Plaza. 10min walk to Sungei Wang Plaza and Lot10 shopping centres. Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was cleaned daily. Will definitely stay here again, highly recommended.

Good price and good room. Staff very friendly, but do not ask the luggage handling staff to book a taxi for you, they charge you double price. Very convenient location. I will return for next visit.

Very bad location of safes. Food below average Water Melon & Papaya served green. Bathroom door stayed always half open. Wall were transmitting the sound from adjacent room. No hand held showers in Bath room. Wall paper was peeling from the wall. A/C in eating area set for much to low temperature to feel comfortable.

Room is more spacious, neat & clean. The Hotel is very close to the busy shopping centre in Bukit Bintang area. The Mono Rail station is just few steps from the hotel entrance. The Times square shopping & entertinement centre is just opposite to the hotel. The hotel arranged my return journey to KLIA in the Luxury vehicle at economy fare. The Complementary break fast is very nice with more items. The room was very large and clean. Even though the mini bar & Room services are little expensive., I recomond this hotel, becuase it is worth staying here.and can avoid paying to the taxis every time. If I plan my next trip to Malaysia, I will choose this definitly choose this Hotel. Arivazhagan India.

A very convenient place to stay if you love shopping Bukit Bintang. Berjaya Time Square is just across the street. The furniture looks a bit old but ok except the carpet that need to be changed. The staffs are very friendly and helpful too. The breakfast is nice and varied. A very reasonable price at a very convenient place.
