Overall, the hotel was great. I only faced one problem with the door magnet key, which it was not working. when I went to front desk I found other guests they had the same issue. It was a general problem with there keys system but they solve the problem in no time and in the next day, they send me an apology litter and a box of chocolate. In addition, I did not liked there buffet breakfast.

Our stay at the JW Marriott exceeded my expectations. Staff were very helpfull and friendly and our room was very nice and clean. The location is really convenient - we ate in one of the many restaurants in the Starhill Feast Village attached to the hotel, walked to the Petronas Towers and caught a cheap taxi to China Town. I would definately stay here again if I return to KL.

I will definitely choose to stay at the JW Marriott Hotel KL again when i am in town! Tho i had to wait almost 1hr for my room to be ready, it was because the actual room that had been assigned to me had some carpet stains, & thus deemed inappropriate for my family & i to reside in. The beds in the room are heavenly & will relax even the most unweary of travellers. The location is also near my favourite F.O.S, in addition to other shopping centres like Lot 10, Sungei Wang & even Berjaya Times Sq... thus it was bliss to be able to out for a whole day & yet be able to just walk back to the hotel easily (& not having to hire a taxi & get stuck in traffic!). It's luxury with a reasonable price tag! Two thumbs up!

Room was spacious and tastefully furnished, with all the appropriate amenities. The housekeeping staff was discreet and prompt in cleaning up the room. Requests were entertained to the best of the staff's ability. Buffet breakfast had a good variety. Dining outlets were plentiful, with different cuisine to select from. Would definitely patronise this hotel again and recommend it to friends and family.

Breakfast selection is limited, it was the same since 2 years ago. Overall, the rooms require further refurbishment as the interior is quite worn out. Located strategically around the shopping malls and other hotels in town. The location of this hotel is excellent. It is close to great shopping malls and eating places. The staff generally is friendly and nice. The staff at check in was efficient and very good, and tried her best to meet our needs. Overall, most of the staff were good. We were most disappointed with the breakfast and the service provided at that pool-side restaurant. The choices were limited, especially for a five -star hotel supposedly of high stature and calibre. The quality also was quite poor. The eggs and the hash brown we ordered separately, for example, not only looked unappetizing, they were tasteless, greasy, and rather inedible. My son, for the first time on this vacation trip where we stayed at different hotels, said he did not look forward to breakfast and didn't even feel like eating. The staff there also seemed rather unhappy. Took them a long time to serve us, to ask us whether we wanted coffee or tea, and then took forever to bring them. Overall, not very pleasant start to our mornings there. Another major frustration has to do with extremely slow service. They give complimentary drinking water. We asked for some, and it took four different calls and one and a half hours later for them to bring them. And....how can a five star hotel not have a tv channel that shows the World Cup so that guests can watch the matches comfortably in their rooms, instead of being forced to go downstairs to watch them in a smoked filled lounge?! I am glad that all my requests were met exactly. But when i stepped into the room, I was disappointed because the room size was relatively small compare to other 5 stars hotel i have been to. Perhaps i am paying premium for the location. No doubt the location is really strategic. It sounds nice when i know the buffet breakfast is at poolside. But when i was sitting, i am wondering it would be unlikely i could have a morning swim. :(

Rooms are neat and clean whenever we return to our room. Front desk staffs were there whenever they are needed. Check-in and out is simple and took me less than 10mins. Speedy room service and make-up room. Variety of food are readily available at the basement and other restaurants. Hotel should have complimentary car park pass/ticket for stay-in guest. The RM5.00 per entry could be quite expensive if guest were to have multiple entry to the carpark. Assuming that guest were to go in and out 4 times a day, that would be RM20.00. As for the valet parking, RM20.00 is quite on the high side especially for multiple entry to the Hotel. The washing/cleaning service for guests' cars in the basement carpark is excellent. Security around the Hotel is excellent too. I like most during my stay there is the concierge service when I need directions to drive to the Mid Valley Mega Mall. The staffs were detail and helpful to give directions though I have missed a turn and got myself lost along the way. Nevertherless I made it to the mall. An excellent choice of location and very accessible to shopping areas with lots of activities in the night. Good choice.

It is a wonderful Hotel and I shall definately consider staying here on my next visit to KL. Furnishings and decoration was very tasteful and stylish. The StarHill Gallery, which it is attatched to, is truely magnificent! Be sure to visit the lower ground floor...it is breathtaking!!

I arrived very late in the evening and had some problems with the lighting in my room. It took the receptionist, house keeping and maintenance more than an hour to attend to me which i find rather appalling. I was pass on from one department to another which should have been done by them instead. I was very dissappointed with the hotel this time round and hoped that they would rectify the matter in future.
