Rated #58 for all Kuala Lumpur hotels
A very large and well maintained modern hotel located 2 minutes walk from a monorail station and many cheap indoor and outdoor eateries.
The best rooms are the ones with views to the twin towers and are worth the extra money.
The friendliness of the staff is probably one of the best features and over the 5 days we spent there, we found that the staff are always willing to do something extra or suggest ways to make our visit to KL more interesting.

Blanket and bath towels are old and need to be changed. The hotel looks really good from outside. The buffet dinner served during the fathers day were nothing special and just like an ordinary hotel.

The Hotel badly need maintenance and grooming for the staff. The commercial complex attached to the Hotel was more a haunted house. As i was there for a short visit, the other details could not be noticed

The air conditioning was cold and when blanket was requested, the action and response was slow that we waited for more than one and a half hour.
Wireless internet access was only available in the lobby making business work inconvienient. It should be available as inroom access.

We were informed that this hotel only had "executive" rooms available, okay but the room we ended up in could not have been executive, very poor. Pencil graffiti on the walls, dirty bed covers and no towels when we arrived. Some may some only minor problems but when we asked what the difference between Executive and normal standard rooms we were told "nothing really". The hotel itself is very smart from the outside to the lobby. Dont think the hotel catered much for western people though. Thanks

Whilst the breakfast is good value, overall the food is a bit expensive when you are in a city where you can eat very well for very little money, however the 2 for one drinks in the bars make it easier on the pocket. The pool area is large but not very shady, whilst the gym and health spa are well appointed and always free to use.
Even though the hotel doesn't share partneships with FF programs, I will stay at the Grand Seasons next time I'm in KL as it is convenient, well appointed and good value.
