The location is very convenient...Monorail station is at a walking distance...It appears that this hotel is the most preferred one for all the tourists coming from India on package tours..Reception counter is crowded most of the time...The crowd at the coffe shop during breakfast is unimaginable...If you want to have a quiet and leisurely breakfast you should skip the complimentary breakfast..The spread is quite good...Inspite of booking two rooms almost a month in advance, we were given only one room when we checked in. However within an hour the hotel was nice enough to upgrade the second room which was in the 25th floor...A couple of more elevators is a must...we had to wait everytime for atleast 5 minutes for the elevators...On the whole a nice place to stay. I would go back to this hotel.

I used the reservation system to book two rooms for three people for the night of Feb 13th. Reply was sent 03:12 on the morning of the 12th, confirmation number 0594311. When we arrived early on the 12th, we informed check-in of the the rooms already reserved the following night. We asked if we could have same rooms for 2 nights, one night at regular price and the following night at the reserved rate. We were given the 2 rooms at the regular rate of 178.25 RM each. The night of the 13th we were moved to a new room. It was a single room with 2 beds for the 3 people. Rate of approx 170 RM. A bit of an awkward situation and I was told that any change to the reservation and I would pay full room rate. The copy of the resrvation shown to me by the hotel showed a single room with three people. I am not sure where the error ocurred but any changes were going to be done at my expense. I was not satified in any way how the room situation was handled and the lack of co operation by the staff member at the hotel certainly knocked the Grande Continental off my list of places to stay. I also feel I was over charged, I paid for 2 rooms and received the one. The swimming pool closed at 19:00, too early in the day. We were not able to use the facility. The cashier was extremely helpful and the hotel car driver did an excellant job dealing with late afternoon traffic which I am very thankful for.

The facilities provided were good. Although the room was triple sharing, it catered for two persons only! There should be more TV channels, particularly English and Urdu to account for customers from other countries. Over all, it was a wonderful experience. Thanks to HotelTravel.com!

Our stay at the hotel was pleasant. The front desk staff were helpful and allowed us to check-in early. The deluxe room lacked some basic amenities such a tooth paste, tooth brush, bath mat and slippers. The blanket provided was not a good one. The television doesnt have many channels and the reception was poor. We could feel the dust in the room. If you are a carefree person and on a short stay, you would prefer to stay. For others who want to make more use of hotel facilities, it is not the one you looking for. It is very hard to notice a smile from the hotel staff....

Very good breakfeast and complete european, malaysian, indian food. The 2 swimming pools seems correct and clean. The two negative point were noisy canalisation when using W.C the little distance from the center of KL. If you don't watch TV to much and if take transport for less than 10 min don't bother, you, This hotel is for you. A very good deal.

Of all the Grand Continental Hotels this one appears to be the only one that is not showing the signs of ageing. The staff are well trained, always helpful and smiling. the restaraunt is good with a fair choice at all meals, the pool is fine and the rooms clean, some with stunning views both day and night. A three star hotel with five star staff.
