Only stayed overnight between flights. Room was excellent, very good size and very comfortable. Good choice at buffet breakfast. Did not go outside the hotel but the location looked fairly uninteresting. For the money it was ideal for our purposes....

Cleanliness is good. But lack of basic things like shower shampoo (empty) and electric kettle.

We only used this hotel as an overnight stay. If all you require is a bed for the night this this will make do. Beware, no mini bar. There is a shop across the road. The breakfast was good.

The Empress Hotel in Sepang is a good value for a short stay near the Kuala Lumpur airport for those early morning flights when you don't want to get up at 2:00am to make the hour drive to the airport. The rooms are clean and roomy, but there was no thermostat or air conditioning controller in the room. The restaurant serves a fairly good breakfast, and the shuttle bus to the airport was very effiecient and prompt. The staff were all friendly, and spoke several languages. The hotel car service to Kuala Lumpur was somewhat a dissappointment - it is rather overpriced, and at the time I booked the service, they told me I could pay at the front desk when I returned, but when I returned, they expected payment in cash - the front desk charged an additional 15 percent for using my credit card! If they had told me in advance, I would have kept enough cash on hand to have paid for the car. But other than the car service, everything was more than adequate for spending a night near the airport.

Onlty stayed in the hotel for one night due to proximity to F1 - can't think why anybody would possibly want to pay to stay here for any other reason

A good standard Hotel chosen mainly for its proximity to the airport since Iwas forced to stop over between connections. It would be nice to have a regulare shuttle service to the LCC airport and to have a hotel desk there , it is very dificult to telephone the hotel for to be picked up. Breakfast was good but cold.

This is a basic hotel which is a distance from the new airport - airport has moved not the hotel so it's unfortunate for them. It is considerably cheaper than hotels at the airport but there are also transfers to be considered. Area around hotel certainly not somewhere to visit other than a sleepover on the way through. Rooms good size, basically it's roomy, comfortable but a tad tired - you get what you pay for and for a stopover, it's OK. Even with transfers, it's still cheaper.

Impressive hotel but NOT AN AIRPORT HOTEL, it is a long way from KLIA and they charge for you to get there on their 'once an hour bus'. The reception staff are OK but the restaurant staff at breakfast do not even acknowledge that your there, some training beyond the head waiter's growls would help and smiles rather than blank stares could improve things.

Hotel does not FULLY cater for westerners. Meals, especially breakfast mainly caters for the Asian population. What was there was cold. The neighborhood where the hotel i situated is NOT in a typical shopping area which tourists of all walks of life like. The hotel advertises 8mins from KLIA, it is more like 20mins.

Inexpensive room rates. Room is very basic, but utmost clean. Reception staff utmost attentive. Breakfast buffet very OK and included in the inexpensive room rate. Hotel has even a pool on the roof. For such an inexpensive room rate this hotel is really worth the cost. Shuttle bus takes you in 10 minutes to KLIA.

the hotel was a last minute choice following decision to go to Moto GP race once again so it fulfilled my needs for that but was a little bit primitive to explore tourism
