I would not stay at this hotel again. The rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment even though the hotel is not that old. We had to ask repeatedly for things to be delivered by cleaners which they had failed to supply to begin with (tea, coffee etc) when these were brought up staff were sullen. The hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from the towers. The hotel lacks in a ATM machine and internet usage was down for a good part of the time. Staff lack professionalism- overall a disappointment. I can give Adrian at reception & particularly Jay at food and beverage a huge 5 star plus- they were lovely to deal with and certainly the top staff in my opinion. As I was visiting the Thai Embassy which is only a short walk from the hotel I find this is a convenient place to stay and have now done so twice. I did find the room last time; especially the bathroom, bigger and in better condition.
The hotel is located in the Center Square shopping mall which has reasonable shopping and a good food mall for cheap eating. Golds Gym is also in the mall right beside the hotel check-in and is the best gym I have been in for a long time. It is also free to use for guests of the Hotel.
The position of the Crown Princess is also only a brisk walk of just over 1 klm. to the Petronus Twin Towers which must have the best shopping Mall in KL. I walked there and back twice and spent some hours shopping, browsing and eating..
To sum it up, the Crown Princess is not the best hotel in KL but it is convenient to a lot of other attractions and is good value for money. I will stay there again.
Friendly and helpful staff. Near center of town and close to everything. This is not a new hotel and some rooms are in better repair than others. The rooms are however clean and smell clean.Cabs to anywhere nearby including the KLA express are under 20 RM. Peter Franzén, Sweden
The once 5 star- hotel has become a bit worn down, and I wouldn't say that it lives up to its former glory- days. The Rooms, especially the bathrooms need a facelift. We satyed in an Executive room, but it didn't impress me very much. Still it's not a very expensive hotel and it's not bad, just not great. Prasantha Adikaram, Sri Lanka
The hotel was over-rated. Should ideally be a 3 star Timothy Williams, United Kingdom
The standard of this hotel was generally disappointing. The room in particular, which, although spacious and with fair facilities, stunk of cigarettes! At three o'clock in the morning we realised that this smokey smell was not coming from our noisy neighbours, who had woken us up an hour before banging on the partition door, but from the air conditioning! It was disgusting. I hoped that breakfast would cheer me up, but no luck here either. I must say that there was a great variety, but the quantity of guests and the lack of space generally created an unpleasant 'push and shove' atmosphere. We had to share a table with two complete strangers. Sorry, not going back. khalid Abu Baker, United Arab Emirates

Hotel is nice but the carpet smells really bad. Some of the staff are very nice while some are very rude. It would depend on the shift. Overall this hotel is just okay. It's very near KLCC. A HotelTravel.com Member, Italy
Except for the the staff friendship, it is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and with a good sight on this town. Breakfast is absolutely incredible, a really nice experience. Peter Tan, Singapore
We enjoyed the friendly and efficient environment during our stay at Crown Princess Hotel. Is walking distant to the Twin Tower and shopping centre. I do not mind to stay at this hotel in the near future. Mwaaz Ismaeil, Sudan
