Taxis offer good service from mid valley.Taxis more likley to over charge going to mid valley from city centre , check with locals as to a price to pay for taxi.Hotel very clean , helpful staff .For those travelling for the first time , all rooms have safes.Overall good value for money....

The location at Mid-Valley was very convenient and one reason why we chose it. The room smaller than expected but the bed was comfortable. The wifi/internet access was awful.

First day check in a bit slow. Receptionist took a long time to locate my name and gave me room number 1517 instead of 646 as I noticed above. Tried calling room to room but phone dead. Room a bit small. I was looking forward to a bigger room with a coffee table with 2 chairs and a rack for my luggage. Each room 1516, 1517 was only given a pair of room slippers. I don't mind for my room but not room 1516 where a couple was staying. Body moisturiser should have been provided in the bathroom. Room not sound proof, could hear noises from next door and passage way. On the whole, service was fast when technician came to rectify phone, on check out and at the concierge. Staff generally very courteous. Rooms also clean and have no smell either of smoking or damness. Thank you.

It's location, strategically situated in the mall itself is unbelievable. Fantastic is the right word. A hotel whereby my whole family could get everything we need right from the moment we check-in till the moment we reluctantly check-out. On top of that the rate is reasonable for it's class. Indeed everything is at your finger tip. My most regret is that I should have stayed longer. Nevermind, I'll be back soon to complete my shopping for the year

The room and bathroom size was quite tight and I am a small person! Had to buy an Internet download card to use my laptop in the room. Also had to buy phone card to make calls in the room. That was quite a hassle.

location of the hotel is very good,easy acceses to everywhere round kuala lumpur.but i was quiet dissapointed with the hotel facilities,espicially with no swimming pool with a 4 star hotel.and the room size was very small.for the price that i had paid for i should have a normal size room hotel.but the room that i had was small and it doesnt suit for its name that is SUPERIOR room..this was not my first time to kuala lumpur,and i have checked in to diffrent hotel and this was the smallest room i ever checked in to....but other then that it was ok, the service was good,the staff was very nice,the hotel hospitalities was very good...i would love to check in to cititel again provided the room is more spacious..

This hotel is in the southern out skirts of the city centre attached to a shopping mall, it is 70km from the airport! The room was in need of renovation and had no mini bar. There is no pool or bar. Needed a renovation - paintwork dirty and flaking off. Bathroom - no bath just shower. No hot water! Shower trickled out with no pressure pressure, worst shower i have ever had to endure. Only a couple of Satellite channels, no pool and no apparent bar area. Attached to a shopping mall way off the city centre but still 70km from the airport. I had been told by HotelTravel that this was an alternative to the 2 airport hotels, but it absolutely isn't.

I like to stay in CitiTel because of its location, I usually drive up to KL and find the hotel location very centralised. You can take a Taxi to Time Square which cost only RM10 for 4 adults 2 children. Thereafter you can roam around in KL city by foot or LRT. Alternatively you may wish to take the shuttle bus from the MrgaMall to the nearby LRT station to KL city.
The hotel staffs are very freindly and efficient. The room rate is considered expensive for a 3 stars hotel, its room size is very small.The breakfast is okay with a variety of Malay, chinese , western and vegetarian types.
MegaMall is just next door, near to the highway which is excessible to many different areas in Malaysia easily. A plus pont for those who self drive. If it is not because of its good location I would not be returning to CitiTel. The MegaMall has everything that you can find in KLCC or Times Square. People who drive up from Singapore should consider this hotel, but the convenience comes at a higher cost. You can get a better room in KL city for the same amount you spent here.
