The ambian of the hotel is very excellent and security as well as safety of my personal belonging almost guarantee untouch. My 2 nights stay is wonderful although the rain spoil a bit of my shopping trip. Otherwise an excellent and wonderful stay in Johor Bahru....

My two daughters age 3 & 5 yrs had a whale of a time enjoying the ambience of the hotel, room and nice city view from the high floors of our room. Restuarants, shopping mall and temple were all very short distance from the hotel.

The hotel is in a small hil which is a short but difficult walk from City Lounge when you can airport bus from Johor Bahru airport. Near shopping places. The hotel can arrange direct taxi from Hotel to Sin airport. But we tired taxi to Malaysia side immigration with RM 5, and causaylink bus to Singapore immigration with rm 1, and then singapore taxi to sin airport with less than S 20.

Location is good for shopping and dinning. The doorman is very helpful to arrange Taxi service for my family to have a great dinner at Tarman Sri Tebrau Market.

The exterior of the hotel needs to be improved, stains can be observed from outside. Room is big and comfortable. Will stay again. Be sure to insist the taxi driver to use the meter. Or agree on the price before proceeding.

Although I booked for 2 rooms, when I arrived at the hotel, the officer at the check in counter indicated that they only received reservation for 1 room. I had to wait at the couter for almost half hour to get this issue sorted out with your local agent in Malaysia. However, the officer helping to settle this mix up was very patient and professional. As such I would like to commend him for a professional job well done.

We like the bathroom which is just nice. We do not really like the location because of the construction work of the new shopping centre and it is not safe to walk to the hotel from City Square. But with the opening of the new shopping centre, it will be nice to stay with Puteri Pacific Hotel.

Overall cleanliness is ok, but somehow, me and my companion developed rash every morning. We suspected that this may be due to the linen-dust mites (?). People with sensitive skins, be warned! I like the staff from the F&B - friendly and efficient. Always attentive to our needs. Did not use the pool/fitness centre or the taxi service from the hotel. The main entrance is not situated in front of the main road, so I guess it would be a much faster to hail a taxi via the main road from the back exit! Very close by the shopping centre - City Square, less than 10mins walk.

Aircon cannot be adjusted, most of the time not cold enough. Bathroom always flood. Too dark, can't do work - should use white light at desk instead of warm/yellow ones. Hairdryer hose came off. No hand towels. Pillows too soft. Blanket too short.

Overall, I think I had a great stay! The Staffs are polite and helpful. Rooms are nice and comfortable. However, the cleanliness of the room can be improved. Hand and facial towels are not there in the toilet and there are some stain marks on the bed sheet. Think I will still look forward for my next stay in this hotel.

I used to stay Pan Pacific in Singapore.
The food quality is very local and cleanness is under the mark either.
