Johor Introduction

Johor is one of the most developed cities in Malaysia as well as one of its major transportation hubs. The city is located on Southern of Malaysia and is easily accessible to Singapore. Johor offers a reasonable selection of activities for children. While perhaps not comparable with modern western facilities of a similar nature, the zoo is nevertheless a family favourite. For fun on a budget, the Taman Rekreasi Hutan Bandar public park offer plenty of opportunities for lively or relaxing outdoor activity for all the family.

Johor has a few festivals and events that are exclusive to the state including the Johor International Kite Festival, Nusantara Culture Festival, Johor Arts Festival and the Kuda Kepang Festival. The state also celebrates all of Malaysia’s national public holidays and popular religious festivals including Buddhist, Islamic, Hindu and Christian celebrations.
