The restaurant staff should at least understand and speak basic English. If not, provide menus with translations or pictures. They were nice enough to assist but the language barrier was still hard to overcome....

There was a a girl's panties in the room under the desk where it was obvious the cleaning crew did not see. I left it right where i found it.

The Victoria hotel average is not bad but just the location is out of city center happening area. If you are first time there, just take cab to go, don't waste time to find shuttle bus. This hotel is a bit far from the free shuttle bus assembly point at custom area. It takes about 15 minutes to walk. Walking on day time is still ok but at night there will be not much people on the street. I guess this hotel mainly customers are china chinese because of the location is just next to Zu Hai border. Staff are friendly and helpful provided you can speak mandarin or chinese. Overall not too bad with this price during my visit (China National Day).

The level my room was on was filled with China citizens and it was terribly noisy. They were talking as though their friend is in Shanghai while they are in Beijing. The receptionist was rude but at least she was toned with her work. Honestly, the price of the hotel is really valuable so dont expect too much. The room and toilet were CLEAN! I was very pleased with the toilet. I am actually most concerned about the cleanliness of the toilet when I stay in a hotel. Oh I found that the bed was rather short. I am 164 while my mother is 174. Her feet were sticking out of the bed. Ask for the measurement of the mattress before you book, very crucial for tall people.

The agent at the receptionist is very rude. She requested us to pay additional money because we were late for check-out for 25 minutes compared to the promised time. The rule is not bring out at the first place. Hope this can be improved.
