New, large clean rooms. really nice decor. I've stayed everywhere from super dumpy to really nice and I thought this place was really nice. And especially for the price. some complain of the breakfast and yes it is quite Chinese. I've lived in china for 3 years. However, there is toast with butter and jam and scrambled eggs and for the price, how can we expect more? Staff was awesome. Very impressed. I've traveled a lot and definitely recommend this place. Lots of places in macau are quite old. Other's are just really pricey. This place was such a great price, and still super nice. ...

We enjoyed the facilities and the staff was really good. Although the beds were extremely uncomfortable. With softer more comfortable beds I would recomend this for future stays to anyone. With the beds as hard and uncomfortable I would be hardpressed to return.

THE HOTEL SHOULD MAKE MORE EFFORTS TO CATER FOR NON-CHINESE GUESTS. BREAKFAST WAS POOR TO WESTERN STANDARD AND TV ONLY HAD ONE ENGLISH CHANNEL.

Mostly our stay there was fine, except that the hotel was under renovation and the lift only started on the second floor. We needed to carry our bags up quite a few steps. Staff was helpful.

The room is clean, convenience and most important is quiet atmostphere. This hotel is located at Taipa, but very convenience to reach and also close to public transport, supermarket and close to Taipa tourist spots. I just took breakfast at the hotel, and it was vareities of foods as well as good taste.

This is my third visit to this hotel, I was very surprise of the hotel service at this time. The front desk is so awful, my guess is that they might change their staff/manager/management. The free shuttle bus driver not very friendly and no service mind at all. I will never go back to this hotel again.

The bed was hard, bedroom size was good for 3 person reservation. Television did not have enough cable channels. Breakfast provided was average in taste. Bus transport to fisherman's wharf was very convenient.

Very comfortable hotel close to many bus routes. Free internet access through the Business Centre, which was opened on request. Free transfer to HK ferry pier every half hour from 10am. Restaurant can get busy at times.

Hotel ambiance was friendly and relaxing, and the staff was very accomodating and efficient (they have difficulty though in communicating in English). Breakfast (buffet) was superb! I would like to suggest that there should be a wider selection of TV channels for foreign guests, as most programs in the channel line-up were in Chinese. Also, the hotel could provide complimentary shuttle service to the Macau Ferry Terminal earlier than 10 AM for guests intending to go to Hong Kong or mainland China by jetfoil/ferry on an earlier time. But overall, I highly recommend this hotel for guests intending to stay in Taipa!

This is a very nice hotel! I found that the rooms for the twin beds were much larger and nicer that the "king size" bedrooms. For some reason, the hotel either cuts off the heater at night or doesnt allow for any adjustment. I rented a total of 4 rooms and we all had trouble staying warm. Another problem is with the transportation to the hotel- nobody seems to know where it is and we had major problems getting to it. Oh, yes, - we rated the 'free breakfast" as a 3 on a scale of 10. If they fix the "heating problem" and the breakfast, I would recommend this hotel to all my friends.

Hotel is very clean but english may be a bit of issue because very few hotel staffs can speak english. However, this hotel is good and recommended and value for money. It will be my choice again for future visit. Shuttle bus provided to ferry very convenience too.

Standard of room is quite good. Would have rated excellent, except for the size. A bit smaller than expected. Did not have time to enjoy the leisure facilities, so the rating was dependant on the taxi service, tour desk, and concierge. Thus not wanting to rate an excellent before i really try the rest of the facilities. Food was not too good. Checked in and 2+, and decided to have lunch in the hotel restaurant before meeting associates. Taste of food was rather below average, although serving portion was very generous. Same for breakfast. We had decide to opt halfway through the breakfast. Staff was very friendly, the front counter and the bell boy was excellent in showing us where and how to travel around Macau. Very very helpful, plus knowledge was good enough to provide the correct details. Location is excellent only for the trip to and from the airport. Requires a bit more time when travelling to the centre of attractions. In all, price was matched to the value of the hotel generally.

The Taipa Square is an outstanding value in the US$60 -70 price range. It is almost new and a true 4star hotel with all the quality that implies. My only complaints are tha the pool was closed for repair and that the bed was unusually hard.

Hotel room is perfect for the rate, reception staff not helpful when faced with mismatch information. Luckily tour agency is very helpful and solved their internal miscommunication. Buffet breakfast is below expectation, choice is limted to less than 10 items, no local delicacy were offered. Overall buffet price (group) is not at value par.

This newly built hotel offers good vealue for the money. The only drawbacks were that the pool was closed for repairs, not much in the way of breakfast for the western palate and the mattress was unusually hard. I definitely reccomend this hotel when discounted to the US$60 price range.
